There is also sizeable and annoying discrepancy between the salary that the Sim actors receive and there fame level. For example, they seem to be able to achieve fame really fast but lack the money to purchase a more expensive home lot. Additionally, if they get the quirk of Brushes with Fame, they are depressed all the time because they cannot afford to live or be around other famous Sims. I have ended up getting rid of this quirk so they will stop being sad. Lastly, considering that most actors in real life call up their own paparazzi, the paparazzi is way too bothersome. I wish they could adjust some of these things. Especially, the salary range and too much paparazzi interruption.
