I tend to cheat cas.fulleditmode on townies and then roll dice (well, an integer website) between an ethnic group listing I grabbed from wiki. That's 222 different ethnic groups for the die to choose from. Then I google names from that ethnic group, 'n edit their looks to match, and clothes to something more suitable. 's sort of like a mini-challenge for myself, I have a lot of fun with it.
The game-created diversity tends to use just Indian and Japanese names, and do it nilly-willy with the genetics/looks/styles of the townies, so I reroll all of those, too.
