I agree that I would love to see some if not all of those jobs in the Sims, this is however something that has been missing from the series as a whole, not just the Sims 4. These types of jobs have always been needed to be added. I wish they would.
Not necessarily do you remember the careers in TS2 and TS1? Some of them had Sims in these type of jobs on the ladder rungs, on their way up to becoming architect and other careers. They wore hardhats and the right type of outfits to support their work like a tool belt instead of some silly everyday outfit picked from CAS like in TS4. But I would like to see the actual job they perform to be the top of the career, such as electrician work toward being an electrician instead of the contractor who would own a construction company (top of a career) or is over those who would be building and or in construction.
Nanny and or Housekeeper etc. are a lot of fun to play to me, or Nanny games are popular with many. And so are housekeeping type games. Just as Big Fish. So are babysitting jobs and TS3's daycare center hands on career was great as you improved you gained morechildrentoddlers to care for, that was a great feature in TS3 and one that I loved.
Sims 2 had so much, sometimes I feel it is unfair to the other iterations to even compare them to 2. At least for me they could never stand up, But then again 2 is my favorite of the series. I did n't use the hands on careers in 3 that much, but the day care career was pretty cool.
