After seeing the DizzyWhims Teen-A-Day challenge, mentioned in the HSY Positive Thoughts thread, it sounded like a lot of fun. If others are inspired to give it a try why not have a central spot to share what everyone comes up with. It doesn't have to follow the challenge theme, if you make a new sim for HSY share it here. Moderators feel free to move this to Creative Corner. I wasn't sure which section was more appropriate.

I might have put a little too much time into it, but I really enjoy creating backstories and fully fleshed out lifes for the sims i create. And it helps distracting me from thinking about how many days is left until I can get my hands on the expansion :D
Parker LOVES horses. Her own horse, Peaches, is her favourite and she'd love to own more animals someday. A whole farm in fact. Coming from a rich well-mannered city family, Parker would adore a more quiet country life. Right now, children are not in the cards for her.
As you can see some of them share last name - that's because they are siblings! I wanted the teens to be in alphabetical order (like in a yearbook), so I gave myself another challenge by trying to find interesting stories with siblings while still following the order in the challenge.

His family are originally from Henford-on-Bagley (thus their last name) but they moved to the city so Gavin and Jo-Anne (his older sister) would be closer to school, and so their mum would have more clients for her gardening-services. Gavin loves two things in life: farm-animals, and food. He dreams of one day becoming a famous chef, even if his taste-buds will accept pretty much anything.

She tries everything in her power to remove the redneck-label, and if you saw her you would never guess she was part of the Finchwick-family. She tries hard, sometimes too hard, but she is also very bright which helps her in her studies. Some day she will leave her family and start a new life, hopefully with a university degree in her pocket.

Ever since his dad ran away with a younger woman it has been a tough life for them, but they get by. While Marlon loves his mum, he has always felt a pull towards the big city, living a life with style. Since he is a bit squeamish when it comes to nature, he dreams about concrete and cleanliness, and also all the art that the city provides as he is a big art lover. He works hard to get that low-effort hipster-look, and while his appearance might not show it he also works hard in school so that he some day might be able to live a life of success.

He has always been a bit careless, and he doesn’t always play by the rules, but he is outgoing and self-assured and sometimes that is all it takes. He lives with his dad and younger sister, their mom suddenly passed away when Dennis was only a child. Their dad never really paid much attention to his kids after their mom passed, he merely provided a roof and sometimes food on the table, so the kids had to pretty much look after themselves. He is also often away on business trips, which leaves the house open to wild student parties.

However, living a careless and wild life has its price, and she is now expecting a baby. Not ideal when you are 16, and she hasn’t yet figured out what she should do or who she can tell. For now, it’s her secret. Her dream is to find The One, but how will that go with a kid to take care of? Let’s hope her romantic and creative side can help her living the life she wants.
