naa they never thought this way otherwise sims 4 would be the same as previous sims games and not this mess born from an "online scrapped idea".
i understand that they have their best selling packs which are seasons, pets and university. all of these used to be packs because the technology back then was quite limiting and it kept progressing over the years. nowadays ea can
afford to put these things on the base game and use the dlc slots to come up with something else completely new. anyways, i also doubt they will stop making dlcs for those things. but one can dream i guess
