Do a Sim's personal and household inventory get saved into their household file?

Hello all. I'd like to save my family's household file to my desktop before I uninstall and reinstall my game so I can play with them in in the new install in the same capacity as I do now. If I put all my Sim's plants in her household inventory, will they get saved in the file? Will I be able to see them when I play the new install with the file inserted in the right folder? I hope this makes sense. Thanks!

    No, inventories are not saved. You could drop the stuff somewhere in the house and save the house though.

    Unless you're talking about the actual save file instead of the household's library file, then the stuff would be fine.

    Thanks guys. Yeah I'm talking about he actual save file. Like the ones in Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Saves.

    If you copy the save file, its no different from one PC to the next, it would be exactly the way you left it when you save and exit.
