I made a holiday to remember my Rags to Riches founders and that holiday is coming up in less than one sim-day. They passed away December 31, 2018 (week 9, day 2) of old age for both of them. They lived long enough to see their daughter marry and were gone the following morning. Since their deaths, Alexis and her husband have increased the family funds to reach over $300,000!! Once their daughter, Parker, becomes a young adult, she'll move out on her own. Possibly with her love-interest James Lewis!

Yes, I have a monthly remembrance day. If a sim died that month, the family holds a funeral. If not, then I send the family to the graveyard to pay their respects.

I have a holiday in my rotational save called "Founder's Day," to memorialize the four founding families of my save. Pretty much every active sim can trace their lineage back to one or more of them. Thanks to vampirism and the fact that a couple of them were created as toddlers, there's also a few of the actual founders still alive. :D Traditions are tell stories, thankful spirit, travel (I usually hold the celebration at a park) and fire (to facilitate the storytelling).

No, but I have holiday called save anniversary which is the anniversary of the save being created. There's a thankful spirit and telling stories.

I'm not sure what this holiday is in reality but I do have a holiday to celebrate my legacy and the sims in it who have passed.

I'm doing the Not So Berry challenge atm, and when my founder dies I'm definitely making a holiday.

Don't think I'll do it with anyone else though.

actually they are able to give gifts to the dead relatives. my sims wife died and his daughter was able to give her something. then i had to get rid of the ghost because she appeared and freaked out her kids. :)

I thought about doing this, I just got seasons today (and it's beautifulll)! But I couldn't because I started on a new family from CAS ? But I'm definitely planning to implement it, mainly in my legacy save.

$300,000 is impressive @HillyBeth! Or at least it is to me since I'm doing my first legacy. I've just hit the $200,000 mark in mine with the founder's children, but that doesn't include the house, which was robbing me for awhile and still isn't finished but is good enough for now.
