Do dead pets come backas ghosts?

They can, yes. I have two of dogs' urns on a table in their bedroom and occasionally one of 'em will ghost on through the house, eating food and eyeing the dishwasher warily.

They will come back, and they will eat your food. My sim's absolutely obnoxious and spoiled cat comes back almost every night and clears the food dish out on the poor other pets.

Do you kno0w how long it took for a ghost pet to appear? :) My fox died about a sim week ago and nothing... :( I have a tombstone in the garden. She's still listed in the relationship tabs and when you call her the notes say she's sleeping... Maybe i'm just unlucky with a super super buggy game :(

You can bring your dead pets back!

You just need to have an "Ambrosia" pet treat for them. I think it was 300 Simoleons per treat (it MAY vary depending on what the vet's mark up is).

You might also want to get an "Age-Down" treat, so you'll have more time with your pets.

WHY do they scarf all your food? What on Earth does a ghost need with physical food? This hurts my head... ?

I may ask my ? ? to join my household but not any time soon... At least being a ghost limits how many hours in the day I have to worry about her wants and needs, so that's a plus.

I had this bug but waited it out. There has to be a time criteria met for ghosts.

PLEASE, we need a mod where ghost pets don't really need anything but affection from the owners. They don't have physical bodies anymore, so why do they need physical food? It makes no sense...
