So about 2 days ago, I was playing The Sims 4 for around 6 hours without saving, I bought the Moschino camera in mid session of gameplay. I ordered my sim to stand on the subject marker and another sim to take a picture. I want to cycle new poses for my sim and a number of randomization, it literally freeze my game, I can't click on anything. The game is still running but froze completely. I thought, hey maybe I wait for a while it will be okay. But it didn't and I was forced to end my session using task manager. I thought hmmmm maybe it's my mods? but no it isn't, I started a new game and removed my mods. I try to replicate the same thing again in my new unmodded game, lo and behold it happened again, the game froze because of the Moschino photography Camera feature.I'm very furious at the developers, because something basic like a camera can literally break a game. Do you guys even play test this, never did stress test, before? Something innocent, like a camera can break freeze the game. I'm in very confusion, right now.EA and The Sims Team, please explain why the camera photography freeze the game. It's ridiculous..

They played with the feature a lot during the live stream so I doubt it's the game.Could you elaborate on what you mean the game is running but is freezing?

I think I know what this is, does the freeze occurs when the game is about to switch to camera ui? because I have this bug before season expansion packs but they fixed it. bug prolly rears its ugly head again.

You can still click on the buttons on the game and move the mouse around, but nothing happens when you click on the buttons to exit the camera mode. I also had to close it using task manager. I still use the stuff pack all the time and love taking photos, but I always make sure to save right before going into the camera mode and I switch poses a bit slower now and that seems to have helped a lot.

I think I had this happened to me only once but it was a looong time ago with the original photography skill. Not too sure about the Moshino Pack tho. Haven't tried it yet.

The same thing happened to me as well, after switching a few poses, the game will freeze, and there is nothing I can do but to force quit everything without saving. It happened once to me during a huge wedding with two of my sims in the pictures, and another time in a nightclub with three sims in frame.
I always save my game before taking pictures with the tripod now, just in case.

This just happened to me as well. I had taken pictures of several sims with no problems and suddenly, it freezes. Exactly the same issues as the OP. I could click the close buttons, the camera buttons, the filters, everything, but nothing happened. Also, the hot keys to open the cheat windows, exit the camera, take photos, nothing would work. Tried several tricks, like switching between programs to see if I could get it to shock back to life. Finally gave up and shut it down using the task manager. Recreated this same problem 6 different times, with 3 different single sims. I have no mods, all packs. This problem was done with the cheap digital camera and also the camera on my sim's phone. I've been saving right before taking the photos, but it's still frustrating.

I tried this career when I got the pack this week and my game didn't freeze, I also have no mods or cc, but every time I took pictures my game would lag and I felt like it was seconds from freezing or crashing. The career itself also seems kind of bugged so I quit it. Wish they'd do something with it I was so excited for that. Guess that's what a stuff pack career is.

I was gonna say "don't play this career because it will save every damn picture you take as a screenshot on your HD." :p

I found no way to turn it off!

This just happened to me last night. I lost about five hours of gameplay and was not amused! I used to use the automatic save with mccc but it somehow got switched off.

I recently got Moshino for the photography stuff, and have played it for about a week absolutely fine. And then I got complacent, and it froze my game :( Luckily I only missed a sim day because I'd saved not too long before, but I had aged up my toddler and completely redocorated her room, and I lost it all :s
So I'm wary about photography now, and will make sure I save each time before I'm about to take more photos.

I had my game freeze during photography once about a month ago, and I do not have the Moschino pack. I was using the most expensive digital camera.
