- yes? we've seen them on here before and they respond occasionally.
- Constructive criticisms they do respond -- for example when people were upset about the texture of the ball pit in Toddler Stuff.
General bellyaching, not so much. "stilljustme2;c-16807902" wrote:

What's to determine constructive criticism and "bellyaching"? Or better yet WHO determines that? Lol"MzPigglyPooh;c-16808030" wrote:

It's easy to tell the difference. Feedback is constructive when it pinpoints a problem, explains why it's problematic, and suggests a solution. Preferably without insults thrown into the mix. Though, just because feedback might be constructive doesn't mean it'll always get a response.- Both! :D But I do hope that they really take most of the threads seriously.. for example, the idea corner..
- They consider Twitter more the official forum these days because it is more world wide and word controlled and often direct to the point.
So if they come here now a days it is usually because twitter remarks came here carrying their message or they had to further add to their message to explain something. But technically they used to come here all the time - since twitter they don't. On twitter you can see all of them that are Guru's - and follow them and talk to them and they will usually answer you - here not hardly ever anymore.
Mostly it is just us here - the mostly discontent it seems. LOL.
Think about - it, if you were a Guru and you knew here was bound to be a hornets nest - would you jump into it - if you had a safer place to go? "Writin_Reg;c-16808081" wrote:

Couldn't agree more... :D
But I really hope that they could come here more often as most of the ideas posted over here are very good and detailed.. It's totally fine for them to post some simple poll, but the suggestion that the players posted here are like rough diamonds that sometimes be mistaken for worthless pebbles.
Else, what's the point for the players to discuss ideas here.. I wonder where else the players could submit their proposal and share their feedback.. besides being a game changer/twitter?"Writin_Reg;c-16808142" wrote:

But this is a world wide game and this forum is not world wide. Twitter is - so some simmers have no voice here and that is unfair too.
You just need shorter ideas that the twitter limits allow if you want to communicate where they need to go to reach all simmers. Keep in mind this forum is only allowing English speaking people. I am sure just as many non-English people also have good ideas they'd like to be heard as well - but they can't post here if they don't know English. So fairness also is important to every simmer.
Why not post on twitter so all voices get heard to. I post on both.
Yes, but I hardly post ideas on the twitter, but I did post questions... and English is my third language, so I don't think this forum is limited in terms of language wise, because everyone, everywhere can speak or understand English. Just that, do people really care, so to speak. And same goes with the twitter.. I'm pretty sure none of the Guru could speak in my native language..
It's good to post ideas on twitters since the coverage is wider and we can give a precise idea/questions... but, they are so many people commenting and they tend to pick and choose whichever they want to answer.. I would say that, if they really want to engage with the players, they should actively involve in all platforms... so far, the forum moderator is doing quite well.. but, there's no input from EA besides than players talking and engaging with each other... Which is nice, most of the time.. :)
I feel it is just a waste that the ideas that the players posted here are not being heard just because they have too many things to say.. and perhaps, they prefer not to have any social media account. I'm not asking the Gurus or the dev team to engage in all the threads over here... but it will be nice if they could involve in the idea thread.. :)"Writin_Reg;c-16808081" wrote:

I really dislike that trend  You need to search for all the Gurus separately, you need to have a Twitter account in the first place to actually use some functions like look at "Tweets & replies", nowadays Twitter makes it hard to even create accounts without phone numbers, Gurus can block you for weird reasons (cough like the whole EP discussion where a certain SimGuru denied we ever got 3 EPs per year with TS3) and then you have to get infos from a third party, I find it incredibly weird to see long posts split into 10 tweets (like the one from SimGuruKate who was telling people to be nicer to the Gurus) instead of posting them here on their official forums and then link it via Twitter, there's the character limit of like 280 symbols or something etc.
All in all I just find it really weird to not use their own official forum and instead pass most informations along via a social media platform that's not always available for everyone. Especially when it comes to official infos about upcoming packs it happens only on Twitter nowadays (except two or three official blog posts).- Posts: 80,786 Member

We see it @comicsforlife & @catloverplayer. ;)
I certainly can't weigh in with any solid info into what we are currently making or may be considering for the future, but I will absolutely confirm that we're regularly watching these boards and take your collective input seriously.
So even if you don't hear from us directly often, THANK YOU for caring about this game and offering feedback/suggestions/ideas/etc. You folks are really the best gaming community out there. We hear and love ya!
Awesome. Thanks SimGuruNinja.
