They need to deliver what is advertised as a current gameplay feature, distinct personalities! It's been close to five years and it's still not in the game. As for everything else, I guess they can do what they want. Unless it was something promised or listed as a gameplay feature you just have to wait and see what comes and hope they listen to player requests. It would be great if they fleshed out the life stages, and gave players their requested packs like education, fantasy, romance etc.
In regards to negativity, it gets boring seeing some people talk about the developers as if they are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts. It's like no... they are being paid to do a job and I paid for a game that is missing advertised features. I've even seen posts that say we should be grateful for what we do have, again I don't know how they got their copy of this game but mine certainly was not free. Long story short, they developers don't get paid in gratitude they get paid in money. So it is more than fair for everyone to voice their opinions on the game, as long as it doesn't get personal or whatever.
