Do vampires live forever?

Question

My Vlad is 105 years old, and I just noticed his elderly lifestage bar is not at 0 but a few percent in the green. I did think he would stay the same age forever, but now I don't know. I know the younger stages do progress (up to YA?). In my game I will age them up to Adult after 100 years and keep them as A. Perhaps aging then to E when they pass the 200 years mark. I also made a system to limit the number of vamps through a frequent battle, but if elderly vamps will die eventually anyway, I might spare them for the battle...

So, what do you know abut vampire life stages?

Vampires are supposed to age as normal until they get to YA and then stay there (or stay at the age they were at when they were turned)

I know that you can mess with that setting with some mods, though.

I don't actively play with them, so I just let them be most of the time.

Don't let Count Vladimir Straud IV's appearance fool you. Vlad is actually a Young Adult.

Vampires can live forever but most of them don't, especially if they don't have Sun Immunity. Even though they don't age, there are several other ways for them to die.

After all he is the exception to the rule as elderly vampires are rare...  I don't need a mod tyo adjust anything, just wondered if they might die evntually. I think I'll keep my tradition with the battle between two vamp clans, it's a smart way to get rid of whoever vamp I want to go :)
