Do Vampires Visit Other Neighborhoods Autonomously?

I think what I would do if a vampire appeared to drink my sims blood in a game I didn't want vampires in - I would just pretend my sim had a really bad dream in the night! They would wake up remembering the most realistic dream of their lives :D
