- It's kinda annoying but still a nice feature. I usually decline, but It's also very funny. I have some sims based on people in real life,
so I laugh really hard when they call my sim. - I don't usually accept invitations unless its with a Sim I want my Sim to interact with, such as a love interest or someone they met as an acquaintance that they want to interact with as a Whim. Most of the time I decline them. I do agree with what everyone is saying about having an option to respond with "in an hour". It would be nice if there was a way to respond back and postpone. I always feel mean when I tell them I can't hang out.
I also find it kind of weird when a child wants to hang out with one of my adult Sims for whatever reason... - oxfordspliceNew SpectatorIt really depends on what I've got going on in the game. I refuse the rabbit hole invites 100% of the time. The problem I find is that the invites come at the worst possible times and are often quite bizarre (e.g. an invite to a date to my very married sim).
- ck213Seasoned ScoutBut it's still rare when I accept.
Usually the timing is bad, I don't care for the outing, or I have no interest in the sim doing the inviting. - Occasionally, but very often the timing is bad. Today, my sim got an invitation in the middle of doing surgery on a pet. I wish these outings were planned more, so you could say "see you at 7pm", rather than jumping straight to the loading screen.
- If Sims 4 had an open world, I'd definitely be accepting invitations a lot more. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I like to be able to go back and forth on all my sims in the household, so I avoid going to community lots without the entire household. It's very annoying with the way I play.
- LolaLuvsSimsRising RookieI think they should definitely implement a delayed meet up. It is possible with the planning we have in seasons and the city living invites. We should get four options instead of three.
- Beardedgeek72New SpectatorI don't mind them. I HATE HATE HATE the "Friend texts" though.
Who among the devs though being bombed by random sims popping up saying "I heard you became friend with X Y. He's pretty cool!"??
1. I barely know YOU.
2. I KNOW FOR A FACT you have never met X Y.
3. Why are you telling me that at 11:30 at night for no reason?
4. What do you REALLY want? Borrow money? - I only accept it sometimes, 1-2 per week. It's usually come at a stupid time (e.g.: when my sims sleep at 2 A.M. or when I'm handling my important daily task so it causes to interrupt them). I'm missing planning for this feature in the game - meet at specific time will be better, not only yes or no now, it's illogical. In this state it's more unnecessary and annoying for me.
- paradiseplanet27Seasoned NewcomerI like the invite options bc it helps decide what to do with my sims atm on a whim; sometimes I'll answer the invite, but many times I'm too busy with other things for these invites. They usually never come up at the best times, like when getting date calls at 3AM... >_>
