Well *I* don't actually buy them all, just the ones that I want (and even then may wait to get them discounted). The ones I'm not so interested in I'll ask family/friends to get for me as a present but in any case I do end up having them all. This way I eventually get the stuff from them even if won't use all the pack has to offer (vampires for example, not interested) but don't need to spend money on it and the people who want to do it get to buy me something that I'll appreciate. Because often I have difficulties coming up with anything since I tend to buy the stuff I really want myself and the whole 'no need to get me anything' never works with some people, they'll just buy some random plum anyways.
