When Ji Ho lived with Jeb and his family, we also got to know his grandmother, Francine, and I fell in love with her. And she soon became part of our story too. She's one of the three old, nosy hags witches ^^'
She's very cool, funny, open-minded and straight-forward and she drives down-to-earth/shy/introvert Jeb crazy with this hahaha.
And she'd been the Boys' Potions teacher at Belgraves Institute 📜
She has the romantic trait and while we stayed with the Harris household, she had the wish to kiss someone.
And then Jules Rico (another premade) knocked on the door!
Since he was already there, they kissed. Of course.
And Jeb ogled his new grandfather.
Francine and Jules are a couple since that day.
A while after we moved out, Jeb got this message from her, awww 💞
(But they haven't married. Yet(?))

I've been playing the Goths since Sims 1 and the Pleasants & company since 2004. I made the Pleasant twins in TS3, and one of my go-to saves is a "Sims 2 in Sims 4" neighorhood. So the answer there is....yes. Very yes. For Sims 4-specific families.....not really. There are some NPCs who always get incorporated into my family because I like their genes, but I've never really played the stories out. I've been tempted t o do a save where I actually explore the townies/npcs.

I've started using premades as love interests for my newly widowed male/females. It's either that or I lose interest in them as the rest of the family grow up.
However loyal my sims are to the very end, my favourite ones get a chance of a fling!
