- Eh, I already use the full edit CAS cheat if I want to make the illusion that my sims got a tan by changing their skin tone approrpriatly.
- I was surprised that it isn't a feature, but all things considered I don't mind. There will probably be a pack equivalent to Island Paradise where we will get beach gameplay that will most likely include sunburns. Besides it's not like Sun won't have any factor on your sims because developers said that your sims can overheat.
- No I don't mind. I would like my sims to be able to go to the beach and swim in the sea though.

^ Agree.- I kind of always expected it in a beach vacation GP or something like that so I'm not surprised (though I would have loved its inclusion).
- I was hoping for sunburns at least. I think maybe they're waiting for maybe an Island Paradise expansion pack; I feel that sunburns/sun-tanning would make much more sense in that type of expansion pack because this would be where they add swimming in the ocean, sunbathing and stuff like that. :)
- I just feel that it doesn't bode well for this expansion pack. Why give us winter without any snow depth and summer without suntans? This is an ep about weather isn't it?
- I'll be honest, I do not like summer. I don't like heat, bugs, tanning, activities that take place outside in hot weather, the sun itself, etc. So I'm not interested in tanning or sunburns. It's not for me. However, the potential of having death through overheating...that accurately represents my feelings for summer and I am 100% here for that.
I'm also 100% for indoor temperature control shenanigans, but that's neither here nor there.
If they put out an Island Vacation pack, it would be very fitting there, too, as others have mentioned, whether or not they add usable beach. - It's not that important to me.
- It's not a dealbreaker, but I am disappointed. I hope it might come in a tropical/vacation pack in the future.
