- Nah. It was one those 'once and done' features for me. Although I was interested in maybe being able to use some of the skin remedies from JA and OR.
Forgot I'd already responded. :p - The fact that there is no sunburn just means there is no effect on the skin that makes it look like sunburn. Sim can, as has been confirmed, overheat, which can have deadly consequences. So it is not like there is no reaction at all to hot weather.
- Honestly if anything I'm more disappointed about this than snow depth, but then again it's still not a deal breaker for me. I can see it as getting annoying after awhile if the sims have strong moodlets for it and as a result be unable to do certain interactions. Our sims can still die from overheating and the sunburn would just be a skin overlay, like illnesses, and illnesses get annoying for me.
- I went with the last one. I suspect tanning and sunburns may come in a beach world vacation pack of they ever make one.
- EmmaVane7 years agoSeasoned AceObviously it would be nice to have officially, but I already have this functionality from a modder.
Maybe Maxis is saving it as a feature of a future Tropical Holiday/Vacation game pack, to go along with loungers that still need to be added. - Omri1477 years agoSeasoned AceNot happy with the exclusion of sunburns, tanning I could save for a tropical vacation pack...
- blushedstorms7 years agoRising VanguardIMO it makes more sense to put sunburns and tanning in a tropical pack.
- It wouldn't have been a big deal on its own, but it's pilling up a bit already.
Deep snow is as essential to winter as Sunbathing/sunburn is to summer to have a full immersion in the season. Not being able to have sims lie down under the sun and not having lounge chairs yet is really not good. Swimming-pool areas without lounge chairs and/or towels on the floor for sims to sunbathe and relax is ridiculous at this point in the game. - Beardedgeek727 years agoSeasoned Ace

I don't care at all.
I did find the "overheating" thing in Sims 2 extremely annoying, btw.
That's still in sims 4
Bummer
I sometimes wish you could keep Objects and CAS items and deactivate the rest. At leat 50% of the features in Season seems like mildly irritating at best, really annoying at most. "HayleeSims;c-16504246" wrote:

I live in a northern state and have had my share of sunburns. :# We also have tanning salons. I know a few people who start tanning right before warm weather arrives to get ready for summer. Not saying any of this is great for the skin. ;)
