Do you enjoy Get Famous??? :)

For me what is not to love?
The Reputation System and the Fame System alone is already worth the 40 bucks. The challenge it had to build up your reputation and your fame is already awesome! The fact that you can progress your reputation level and the world change around you based on your reputation is awesome, and will result for good and bad sims having a lot more depth when it comes to gameplay. I haven't played the Acting Career yet(and tbh, I only bought if for the reputation) yet these two system are a huge game changer. This pack reminded me of Get Together. This is one of the features/Packs that is very hard to show off, but once played, without cheats, that is where we started to see how big it is, and how deep it was adding to the gameplay. I don't care about the size of the pack.
If a pack appears small then I'm fine with it as long as it changes gameplay and adds new opportunities for expandable gameplay rather than a huge pack that has so many features that I will play only once. My hope, is they add more systems into the game that contributes to sims personality, and integrates a lot of features that we will and already had to provide us the best level of experience. Congrats on The Sims Team.

I really agree with these statements personally. The best thing about fame and reputation is that they affect all sims, across all different careers and thanks to the added cheats, in exactly the way you want it. I am so very fond of this pack, not necessarily because of the fame (although also), but because of the way it deepens every single career. And since I love playing different careers and having my sims really excel in their respective fields, it's just perfect for me. Even long after the novelty of acting will have worn off. There's in fact so many changes to the way I play that I had to put ageing on pause just so I can switch between my families without worrying they'll die on me while I get totally lost in another one for a few sim weeks xD

Goodness, I'm having such a fun time. Finally my sims feel like they're more multidimmensional...

My main sim Ezra has been a professional musician since he was a teen and it only makes sense that he would become famous for his talent. But, before Get Famous I just imagined he was a celebrity and I was never was able to play that out in-game. Now that he's getting older and still continues to flaunt his talent, he's finally living the celebrity life that he deserves!!

This was a pack I didn’t want at first. I wasn’t going to even get it. But after seeing the reviews from other simmers I got it and it’s one of my favorites! They took so much into consideration. In TS3 I hated it how easy it was for my sim to become famous. I love that we can turn the fame off and on. I also really like the point system. I love that all my sims with “every day” jobs can now be famous. I have a chef sim I’ve had since the launch of the game and he’s a famous chef! The B.B. and CAS items are awesome too. I’ll be using this pack a lot. This was a pack that has exceeded my expectations, which doesn’t happen often with TS4 lol.

One of my benchmarks for judging a pack is how much difficulty I have in deciding where to start and what to do first. This pack definitely meets that benchmark. ?

I wasn’t going to get this pack cause all I saw it just didn’t appeal to me but then when seeing people’s reviews and pics etc I decided I wanted to try it. I absolutely do not regret buying this expansion. I love that kids can post videos and reviews and have Drama club. I love the processes they have added to make things more realistic when it comes to the mixing music table and the editing table. I also love that it’s not super easy to level up your fame and to raise your reputation. I am still playing my 1st person and still working our way up to updating our house so very excited to get to start using some of the new items also. Definitely worth getting IMO

Gosh, I accidentally chose the second option, why? Why? Why? I'm loving it so far, even though I've only played with the fame aspiration. I still haven't explored anything from the acting career. I love the media production station and the recording equipment. Thanks, Sims team!

I don't have it - but I cannot click your answer as I can't judge it either if I don't have it. So I won't answer it the way that is written. The only thing I know for a fact I did not like about it was too few lots for my Sims to live in that world - so for that reason I did not buy this pack and I had wanted it very badly - but just could not come to terms with just 6 residential lots.

I agree with you that the world size in terms of lots is disappointing. But the gameplay is, dare I say it, quite stellar. Still, I totally get where you're coming from. If you ever decide to get it, I hope you would enjoy it. And if not, then I hope the next world is larger again!

I can't play since the age bug is making it impossible. I enjoyed it so far, but really I don't want to play until it gets patched. Also I lost a sim and her newborn due to father winter bug (she was a father winter baby, but her offspring wasn't not sure why the baby disappeared!). Her husband is now without his wife and newborn. :(
