Do you ever discipline your sims when they make you angry?

I'm talking about when they do something they should know better not to do? And if so, what did you do? One of my households is a family of 6. One young lady made burgers on the grill, placed them ...

Yesterday I banished a male sim to the realm of never to be played again. Endured the gross stupidity of said sim for 3 or 4 play sessions, but yesterday was the last straw. Could say the sim is 'dumb as a rock' but that would be insulting rocks. AI for TS4 sims is waaaaaaayyyyy inferior to that of TS2 sims.
