I know they're pixel people, but I still feel bad when I kill someone off for storyline purposes. I haven't completed the mischief/evil aspirations, though I did try them out once. I just want to be friends with (almost) everyone, become rich, and live out the fantasy.
Even so, if I'm out in public and someone just dies, I'm not bothered unless it directly affects my plot. Why is that? Apparently I don't mind things happening to Sims as long as I didn't directly harm them myself.
My 7th great-grandfather passed away in 1770. I used MCCC to cause him to decease when I reached the time frame. (I control the vertical, I control the horizontal and TIME.) ;) I think it didn't make me feel bad, because it did happen and it was so very long ago. He was the father of my sixth great-grandmother. Inexplicably, my 7th great-grandmother (mother of my sixth great-grandfather) also passed away, in 1773. Nobody knows why or exactly when, just that she didn't make the trip to the Settlements from Virginia. 300 miles southwest from the Shenandoah Valley where they lived. To the Island on the Holston. These Settlements expanded and eventually became the State of Tennessee.
I ended up either restarting or rolling back a game save when that same great-grandfather toasted himself to death fixing the broken dryer. It was necessary as not all of the known younger children had been born in my game, yet. :open_mouth:
