Oh, I misinterpreted your poll. I find ts4 challenging to keep my attention for very long. For me, it is a very boring game with little to offer. Particularly compared to previous iterations.
Duly noted. :p- Lustianicia7 years agoSeasoned AcePlaying a household of more than 4-5 Sims can often be challenging... but that's been difficult for me even in previous games. Also, creativity can sometimes go blank when building lots or creating Sims... so that can often be challenging too.

A single caregiver with 3+ Toddlers and a garden to look after on the weekend when there is no gardener NPC available, but I don't think I will be doing that again. - I played 7 toddlers and it was nothing easy. It depends on how I challenge myself. But sometimes I like to relax, without challenges and hovering over sims like in sims 2.
- Um, my sim couple is raising 3 kids and pregnant with a 4th. I find the game easy. Like, very easy. I guess it depends on what you call ‘challenging’. If you think having an almost dead toddler easy, then that’s why some people may have voted ‘never’. I can easily handle my children though. As a result of me finding the game easy, my sims can sometimes have LOTS of kids though... oof.

@CK213
Tip: get 3 wabbit tablets, wake up and feed the toddlers and take care of their bladder needs (if any of them still needs help with that) then sit them down with the tablets while the single caregiver takes care of the garden. Toddlers will stay occupied with wabbit tablets for hours and hours and hours without stopping.
Another tip: Toddlers can help themselves to food from a prepared group meal so you don't actually even need the caregiver to be present to take care of their hunger needs. I always do because it seems unrealistic for a toddler to just pop into the kitchen and fix a plate...just saying, you don't have to.
Toddlers are very self sufficient in TS4, really...especially after they are potty trained. Parents don't "need" to do anything other than give them a bath every few days after potty training is done. - OEII10017 years agoSeasoned AceNo, but I've never really found any of The Sims games particularly challenging. While The Sims and The Sims 2 did have a larger array of random elements that could impact the game, people tend to exaggerate the difficulty of those games for the sake of argument, as though people playing The Sims or The Sims 2 are playing Angband while those playing The Sims 3 or The Sims 4 are playing Skyrim. My experience has been that the difference is not nearly so pronounced.

The only challenging thing is getting the Sims to do what you want them to do!
basically this. all the bugs, sims ignoring commands, etc. is the only thing that makes it challenging. the gameplay and goal achievements itself are easy. - icemanfresh7 years agoLegendThe most challenging thing I had to do was raise triplets in a starter house with barely any money, but otherwise the game is pretty manageable
- The Sims is a sandbox game. None of them were ever very challenging. And I'm not sure why anyone would demands lots of blockades, challenges or competition from a sandbox game.
