Do you give other sim households careers? Should I?

I just rebuilt a brand new save file, pulling sims and buiildings and making new ones - filling eeeeeevery lot into a new save file - and I'm FINALLY done after nearly a month. Thing is now I'm sitti...

I play on rotation so my sims have a variety of jobs and I like to make sure that they have at least one or two 'known' sims from the worlds as colleagues rather than just random generated weirdos :D
