Do you let random chance decide your sims' pregnancies, or do you cheat it with MCCC?

For some of my families where the gender and birth order are already set, I allow my Sims to try for baby, and then I check with MCCC to be certain of the gender and number of babies. With Erik and Kayleigh, the first time out, I allowed the game to decide, so it was all natural. The second pregnancy yielding identical twin girls threw me for a loop, but since that game save is long since gone, I've been attempting to get back to where it was before I lost the save. So now, I am in complete control of the gender and birth order.
