- SharoooniaNew SpectatorIt's as boring as I expected it to be. My sim literally just sits in a chair and knits with the same colour animation over and over again, they don't even have a ball of yarn visible while knitting either which is such an odd detail to leave out. How this won the vote over so many other options I will never know. The only positive thing I can say is that Plopsy is an interesting addition and finally we get something cute for babies.
- Sara1010pRising RookieI like it a lot. I have my sim knitting gifts for her family for Christmas right now. I like that we can gift the stuff we make to other sims. I love the rocking chairs. My only real complaint is that you can't rock babies or toddlers in the chairs. That would have made the pack perfect to me.
- Thank you, everyone, for your reviews they are always appreciated when we get a new pack from other players. Your reviews often help me decide whether to wait on getting a new pack or not right away or maybe getting it when everything goes half off. I too was curious to whether or not I should get this pack or not.
Thank you very much, everyone. - mauvejinjoNew NoviceI think Nifty Knitting adds some nice gameplay additions, but isn't a stand-alone pack, if that makes sense. The addition of music stations (Metal specifically) that alter mood is a great concept that can be taken further with older stations too. I think this pack offers a good deal of content for approx 10 bucks that adds to gameplay overall.
Reminisce is a cute animation with a lot of promise down the road: I could easily see it more fleshed out with the addition of Sim interests or memories. If we could select, say... five to ten icons for a sim that they will reminisce about... that would be so much more powerful and rewarding to players. It could work kind of like the holiday or group maker. Right now, every elder dreams about the same memories, and they don't always apply. (Like an unmarried, childless elder remembering the birth of a child) Different packs could offer different icons, so for example military memories from the Strangerville career. - mariefoxprice83Seasoned HotshotI like it so far :) I added knitting baskets to a few sims' inventories and am going to be playing some knitters in my current households. In one, a family of 3, I gave them a basket each and set up a family club which includes knitting as one of their activities. The dad has a mistress living in a different house with their 2 children and her mother. The mistress' mother is also going to be a knitter. I'm due to renovate the mistress' house when her family gets some decent money in so I'll probably aim to use mostly content from NK and TL, which I also got just recently.

The smog is thick in the air on a dark stormy night, sims set up camp in an abandoned prison. The military sim is trying to get in contact with sims from the outside world etc etc...
I was really getting into it. Please keep going. B) - alan650New SpectatorThis is definitely one of my favorite stuff packs! There is something so rewarding about having your sim knit their own wardrobe items and then wear them. Makes the clothing more special for sure. I really hope modders find a way for Sims to knit even more clothing!!
- From what little I've used so far, it's pretty much exactly what I expected. Meaning it's as exciting as watching someone knit lol.
But it's cute. I do like having more things to give as gifts.
I've been getting my kid sim to build up motor skill this way and pretending he's learning how to sew because his parents neglect him. Then he gave a pair of normal quality socks to his crush and they weren't well-received lol but they were also in the middle of a heat wave so. - whubble1817New ScoutI will just say that my Sims LOVE it. So far "knock on wood" nothing bad is happening. The new items are adorable. Its not that expensive. Definitely worth having of your sims need a new skill :) My Sims also make a lot of other stuff you can sell on Plopsy so I kind of like that addition to the game.

What I would love is to be able to knit hats and coats for the cats and dogs! This is turning into one of my absolute favorite stuff packs.
It is so much fun! I also wish we can sell the little decorations like the knitted cactus by using the yard sale table. I tried but couldn't put them there.
