I'm torn between the first and the last poll options, because whether or not we get more hidden lots won't make or break the game for me, but I do wish they served a purpose other than looking pretty. Sylvan Glade and Sixam especially are both so cool and unique, and I wish the game gave me reasons to send my sims there more often, but it just... doesn't.
I tried to make Sylvan Glade more interesting by planting a forbidden tree there, but since I don't even play with PlantSims, that didn't work out. I have absolutely no idea what to do with Forgotten Grotto, but it would be cool to live in a place like that, an underground city of sorts.
Oh, and Island Living totally should have come with a secret underwater lot that you can only get to as a mermaid or by fulfilling certain requirements.
