I never allowed my sims to research, talk about, or interact with vampire npcs WHAT-SO-EVER, and still has 2 attacks every sim week along with nightly knocking visits. What mods do you have installed? Because in WB, WC or anywhere else if I didn't study vampire lore no other Sims saw any vamps, and if a vamp I turned knocked on my door, I simply ignored them. No big deal, I often ignored the welcome wagon and other townies from next door.

Only had MCCC installed when this all started. I never used any other other mods until after looking for a solution to squash attacks and visits. This even occurred after removing my only mod. It was like the game was forcing me to hate that lifestate. I quit playing until I found a mod to elimiate what I hated. If the visits and attacks were able to be seldom to almost non-existent that would have been better for my gameplay style. I am thinking I was not the only one who had the too frequent attacks/visits issue.

Well, I have no idea if that big script mods changes things, maybe it does or maybe it doesn't but the player triggers worked perfectly in my game mod free. And I have to blame mods if it didn't work right in yours. Because I can honestly say this pack worked exactly as it should all player triggered and the way to avoid them worked, too, in a vanilla game. And now it's nerfed possibly because of mods. (Complaints from those who use mods).

ETA: Vistors were always a part of this game day or night..you simply ignore them. But I assume 'visitors' reg townies were also nerfed months and months ago since in a vanilla game I had none last year.
