Do you normally create a version of your own family? Or do you create other types of people, unrelated to yourself?

I do have one save in which I have been recreating many of my extended family and their homes - but I don’t play that one. It’s more a static model where I just enjoy getting the Sims and lots as representative as possible.
For games I play, I often start with the randomizer then grow a style/personality from there, making my Sims different each time. Though sometimes I will also start with a particular story idea in mind and create the Sims accordingly.
