@simsplayer818 On the gaming PC subject, I actually have a gaming laptop. Due to the fact my other computers couldn't handle any game. when I decided against a actual gaming PC. It was mainly for the reason they're a serious investment, and the comfort of taking a laptop anywhere without the hassle of a delicate heavy system unit was a major reason. Plus I don't have anymore space for another desk for a computer. As me and my family have a mac that we all use, our mac, takes quite a bit of space up with a desk and office chair. So I knew that a PC would most likely be to big, but I wanted a computer that could not only be my PC, but to be able to handle the majority of my games, and not sound like a jumbo jet taking off. ๐ So when I discovered gaming laptops, my decision was made. They are expensive too, a definite investment, but I truly love it. And it's lit up keyboard! ๐ I must admit some games make it work, when I hear the fans freaking out, usually the sims does that to it. ๐ I'm also no tech expert so I thought a massive PC might be to complicated for me to handle. ๐คฃ But anyway, I completely understand your love of a little console like the switch, I like play a little bit of animal crossing too. What's good about the switch is it's portable, light, comfortable to hold. It's also no hassle to turn off and put down. I'm a a bit perfectionist with things I find important, so I get crazy with making sure my computers are all shut down, no open tabs, clean, and put in a safe place where they won't get damaged. So the switch is prefect in size to put in a safe place easily. On the subject of music, my personal taste is very varied. I love many different songs from many genres, but probably my favourite genre is Soul/Rnb, and what is usually described as 'Alternative' RnB, or just alternative music, whatever that means. ๐
โค Wow! ramble over (๏ฝ๏ฟฃโฝ๏ฟฃ)๏ฝ
Have you heard about consoles called NUCs? Intel makes them, and other companies make those type of PCs as well. They are very, very small and smaller than laptops (not the height, but the rest of it). They also make gaming ones. They are expensive though.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos Yes! I have heard of NUC's. When I was looking for a PC combined with a gaming aspect, I stumbled upon them but I was still more set upon a gaming laptop, as I just liked the idea of a laptop. Because my old laptop that sadly had a bit of a nervous breakdown. I still have absolutely no idea what was wrong with it. But it wasn't a gaming PC, just a normal laptop. I don't know why I'm talking about it in past tense because I still have it. ๐ Sadly it doesn't work though, maybe one day I'll take it to a computer shop to see if they can fix it. My laptop I have at the moment is a MSi, not cheap but I adore it. It's one at the cheaper end of the spectrum, but still expensive. There is no gaming pc that is particularly cheap sadly. ๐ I settled upon a MSi because of the extremely positive reviews on their products. The reviews were from all types of people. People who used their computers for editing videos, playing games, and using it for work. talking of videos, I also watch Clint (LGR) I enjoy his sims expansion pack reviews and he's usually very honest with his opinions. Also him showing older tech is pretty cool, not many youtubers do that. I'm not a tech expert though, the opposite. ๐คฃ but it's nice to see anyway. (. โ แด โ.)

Oh! Did you hear the scandal involving MSI? I heard about it several weeks AFTER buying my MSI video card. They got burnt SO bad from critics XD I don't know why they thought it would go well lol. Glad you got a gaming laptop now, and yeah if you buy pre-made gaming rigs, those are expensive as all hell. I personally built my own though, but to be fair I am a PC expert.
As for LGR, he's probably the most honest Youtuber out there for sure. I do love the stuff he looks at, and man... when he inputs some of that old code in those older machines? I am just grateful I didn't really have to do that growing back in the 90s.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos Yes! I heard of this particular scandal if you're referring to the eBay one. I felt sorry for the people who bought those items at astronomical prices, selling products at over a grand worth 50% less than that, is just terrible. usually, you expect this from the scalpers who buy all the popular gifts at Christmas, then products sell out, so people end up trying to get them even at extortionate prices. I remember this over the PS5 when it first came out. I bought my laptop before that scandal, but I know it goes on a lot. I personally wouldn't buy a particular product if I knew it was way overpriced. I would most likely wait for the price to reduce. But I know the people who get ripped off, usually, don't want their children to not have the certain present they asked for. So they're willing to over pay to give their children the present they wanted. At Christmas you see the price increase in everything. I was looking through websites in October compared to December, and most companies put up prices by at least 10%, even grocery stores. Fantastic to hear you built your own PC. Some companies charge over ten grand to build a PC for a costumer. I've heard of people who've paid thousands for a PC built for them, and got the worst customer service ever. That being said. I always say, Cars and PC's, and anything that looks mechanical and complicated I won't touch. ๐ I'm amazed by people like you who know what they're doing with things like that. My knowledge is just everywhere but practical. the best type of knowledge is obscure though, right?! ๐ The other day I had this quote stuck in my head, only to realise it was from the Witcher 3 ๐คฃ. Random things I'm a connoisseur of. (Aka all things not helpful in a important situation) Lol. (โหโหโ)
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
@Mrs_K_Desormeaux
Yeah, that's the one! I was so disgusted though when people were scalping Xbox and PS5's - pure greed like that is so effing disgusting. I would never pay 2 grand for a console, and those who do? If they have the money because they're rich, that's one thing. But if you're just a normal person? Maybe those parents should teach their kids something else than greed. At some point, it's about teaching children the value of money, but when you spend 2 grand on a console? That's not a good life lesson. It saddens me to see some people falling into that trap of: "my child really wants this!" How about the lesson of: "kids don't need a 2 grand console and they can have fun with something else"?Thanks! To be fair, I was interested in PCs since I was a teen, and at some point I wanted to learn more. I started with simple web dev and found my way up to having a better understanding of PC hardware. PC hardware does change, but the change is an understandable change, while web dev is change and then more change, and you're looking at hundreds of languages if not more at this point. When you look at Python for example, that still exists and it was created in 1991... and still exists. Imagine all those languages that exist AND frameworks that go with it, then even more are created.
Random things is good lol. Like how to get X game to play because it doesn't work correctly, and then you need to add some resolution files and then also run a fixed exe file. There, random, but someone knew and shared that fix lol. Random knowledge is good.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos I totally agree with you about the parents and children. I think parents get caught up in the pressure of trying to make their children happy with material items, when really all the children want is a loving parent. I thankfully, in my childhood and now, never asked for anything ridiculously expensive or multiple items. When I was a child, I remember having a crazy huge imagination, most children do. I could play make believe for hours. I think I mainly played with just one doll, even though I had more to play with anyway. I think most children do that. The whole joke of 'bought my child a dollhouse which came in a huge box, but instead of playing with the dollhouse they're playing with the box' Is very true in my opinion. It just seems in a crazy capitalist society (which seems to be getting worse), even some children become unchildlike. Seriously I'm more childish than some actual children I know.๐คฃ
And sorry for mentioning that song by The Verve. Lol. not the most cheery. ๐ Also, if you like The Verve. Do you know The Gorillaz? They're quite pop like and also British. Basically the lead singer, Damon Albarn, Also lead singer of Blur too. Basically talks in a british accent rather than sings. Lol. I know you mentioned bands who sound obviously not North American, and that's who I thought of straight away. Sorry for rambling, seriously a major trait of mine. If I was a sim my traits would most likely be perfectionist, goofball, and clumsy. They really don't go together. Lol (It's a permanent annoyance for me๐.) (. โ แด โ.)
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Just like in that Simpsons episode back in the day, where Maggie was playing with a box XD. And yes, you are correct, children simply want parents who pay attention. I've actually started watching Full House (I hadn't watched since I was much younger), and their dad says that he wants to spend more time with his daughters, because of Michelle calling uncles Joey and Jess, dad lol. That thing is real, where if you're not the main parent (in his case, since his wife was no longer among the living in the show), that will happen.
I didn't have imaginary friends like some people do, but I did have legos and gijoes though. Those were fun to play with. When it came to using my imagination, I wanna say we would create stories with those books. You know those tabletop games that have a book you can use? Sorta like D&D, but not D&D. It was fun. I would play with my friend and we were 18 at that point lol, and still playing with those types of games.
I agree, society is way too capitalistic. And yeeeeeeees! I too am very much more like of a child at heart than many other younger people lol. In fact, I am sorta like Joey from Full House, just not as talented with my voice impersonations though XD
Really? I personally don't consider Gorillaz to be pop music. Wait, their singer was the same as for Blur? How? XD I prefer Blur, personally.Girl, don't apologize. You and I would do well face to face. You could talk, and I could listen lol. To be fair, I write more than I talk. Wait, you're saying you're a "perfectionist, goofball, and clumsy"? I have to see that LOL. This is like adding 2+2 and expecting it to be 5 lol.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos Yes truly! My personality is very contradicting. Lol. And I too didn't have any imaginary friends! When I heard of that being a common thing I was shocked as I thought it was rare. I mean I used to play with all sorts of things and use my imagination. I played with all sorts of toys mainly Barbie and many other things. (Although Bratz didn't float my boat though๐). But Lego! I was terrible at, I had friends that used to make amazing things, and I'd just make a box and that's it ๐. I literally couldn't make anything else. It's the same with games, when it comes to Build and Buy in the sims franchise it's the same again for me. let's just say, I start with an idea to build a pretty house with landscaping, then it just ends up being a box with a porch on it ๐คฃ. Like I said practical things are not a strong point for me ๐. The whole left side or right side of the brain question, I'm definitely on the right side. I'm also not particularly good at math that's for sure! Lol.
All my lots in TS4 are from the gallery, not ashamed to admit that ๐. People that can build in the sims are so talented! I'm always soo impressed with people on the galleries' creations! Just for reference on 16 personalities (I don't know whether you've taken the test on there). But when I did the personality test, my result was INFP-T. It basically means I'm constantly daydreaming, and can ramble for hours ๐Lol. it was a surprisingly accurate result! \(โ'โก'โ)/
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Congratulations on being normal :D I never understood the imaginary friend thing. Like, someone is just talking to air. I don't get it lol.
I am surprised about the legos part though. Usually, they come with a boxed set with instructions. Unless you had a bunch of loose legos like I did. I mean, I had both, but my brother is considerably older than I am, so that's why I had a lot of legos growing up, though I did prefer my gijoes. My brother still has legos. In case you were wondering, he is indeed married lol.Alright, took the test because, you know I had to after you mentioned it! So, first attempt...Hopeful Romantic. Yeah, definitely not the test lol. Taking a look at another one... nope. Ok, went online to verify, since I know exactly what you're referring to, but I couldn't find a Sims one AND then... realized you didn't mean a Sims test but actually the website I was on afterwards. Alright, I am a Logistician apparently ISTJ-A: "Logisticians are practical and fact-minded individuals, whose reliability cannot be doubted." And 100% introverted, 60% observant, 87% thinking (vs feeling), 53% judging (me in the first line about imaginary people lol) and 54% assertive. That's me in a nutshell. Ironically though, I do daydream all the time like you LOL. That being said, the above is probably the reason why I struggle when it comes to "moral" decisions when there is no true good answer. Sorta like the trolley problem.
You must be very creative as well, considering you daydream all the time ๐ Hopefully you write, paint or maybe play music(?) - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos I imagined you as that personality type! especially as you've got patience to work with computers. Sorry I forgot to put 16 personalities is it's own website ๐. That's my scatter brained ways coming out again Lol. Me and my friend did that test 2 years back and I thought it was accurate about us! My personal results were, as I still have them. (Professional Hoarder. Loool)
52% Introverted (vs Extroverted 48%), 79% Intuitive (vs Observant 21%), 73% Feeling (vs Thinking 27%), 63% Prospecting (vs Judging 37%) 70% Turbulent (vs Assertive) INFP-T. I think your personality group is obviously deep thinkers that are patient intellectuals. Whilst mine is just means I'm all over the place. which is very trueee. As for music, I can't play any instruments (accept from the music presets on keyboards ๐). I've always wanted to learn though, especially the violin, I love the violin. My grandma was a soprano and ballroom dancer, so I'm into arty-farty stuff like her ๐. I also love acting it's just messing about, and what's not to like about that! As for painting sadly that's not my forte. but I do love art. Actual artists amaze me, being able to make a canvas look like a human being! Like whoa, I also think the same way about digital artists, so talented!
I've completely rambled now again. Lol. Btw on the Lego subject they belonged to other kids I never saw the guides for the actual bricks ๐คฃ. I had some stickle bricks that I played with though, I didn't ever ask for Lego for the reason of it just wasn't my expertise. ๐
- simsplayer8183 years agoHero@Mrs_K_Desormeaux I loved Lego! I used to build little houses, which is exactly what I do now with the Sims. Lego houses were my first step on the mini property ladder!
My personality test said I had a Sensing/Feeling personality, that I did not process instructions well, am a visual learner and that I did not speak up in a large group. - Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
How are we opposites? XD At least you're on the right side when it comes to introversion. Respect ๐
I see every family has some singers and all. For us, it is my uncle who plays the guitar and my cousin has a band. I use that term loosely, as he had a band and now gone solo. Why don't try learning the violin? If you want to do so, try it out :D Personally, I've always wanted to learn the piano.
Indeed! There are wild artists out there using the city as a canvas. I hate actual graffiti and have no tolerance for what people call tagging (which is typically a person adding their nickname, but no one else knows who they are, so...), but when it's actual art that represents something and was made with actual care, that's way different. That is impressive. Have you seen what was dubbed a "cartoon cake"? It looks legitimately like a cake that was drawn from a cartoon until you see someone cutting into it. My sister actually, she would often bake cakes for birthdays and such, like a Mario Bros themed cake, and it was pretty damn impressive. I was very impressed. Both her and I are very artistic (different domains though) - she can draw, paint and bake cakes. I wish I could do that... drawing, I mean.
lol, legos are so overrated to be honest, you did not miss out on anything :D - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@simsplayer818 Sorry for a late reply, I was a bit busy today. I imagined you'd be good at Lego, because you can actually build lovely things in the sims, unlike me! As for your personality, I too don't take instructions well, mainly because I'm a rebel without a clue. ๐ I cannot believe how off subject we've gotten.
I've had an EA account for years but never posted or logged in really, until the face bug that happened. So I wanted to also report that I also had the same issue. But I think I'll log in more often now after chatting to you lovely, interesting people. So much so, that I've completely rambled about everything. Lol. Suffice to say it's a bit like that saying, you wait for hours for a bus then three come along all at once. But that's typically like me though! \(โหโหโ)/
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos Your family sound very talented! As for learning the violin, that's the exact problem, if you've ever heard anyone who can't play it. Lol. It sounds like a bunch of ally cats having a fight ๐. But once you've learned it, it's such a contrast. I also agree about not being too keen on some graffiti, I mean some of them have talent, that's for sure, but I'm just not into that urban look myself. I'm more into greenery and cutesy things, Like them ceramic chickens you can get, or just pure clutter. Lol (I love anything twee๐).
About the cakes too, Damn. That's some serious art as well, sometimes the cakes take days, trying to decorate them perfectly and getting them taste fresh and tasty is a real science! Also do you watch Ambiguousamphibian on YouTube?, I enjoy his sims content, I think you might too. I watch many other channels as well, but something about his content reminded me of LGR a bit, he doesn't do reviews on older tech, but he sometimes plays classic games a bit like LGR. (โฟโ โฟโ )ใ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Some indeed are lol. Actually, my niece has my sister's talents when it comes to art. That is pretty cool ๐
I wouldn't mind hearing you play the violin. It couldn't be worse than me trying to play the oboe ๐ Not that I've tried, I have not.
I can see why you'd prefer what you call cutsie stuff. As long as it's not a painting (as I don't like scenery paintings etc.), real outside stuff can be real nice to look at... depending where you live of course lol.
I have never heard of that youtuber, so I went to see one of his videos. He was slowly withering away in Project Zomboid... his voice was perfect for that ๐ Speaking of youtube, you should totally create your own youtube channel if you haven't already :D I'd be interested to see how you play The Sims.
I gotta ask, those normal looking emojis, where did you get them? I had to copy and paste them from your post LOL.

I create a bunch of weirdos drawn from my own imagination and from mythology, fairy tales, tv shows/movies, and also one from the game itself (DHD Guy which I put up on gallery). I use DHD Guy to do terrible things to my sim's homes and businesses, just as you'd expect from him if you've ever watched the Dream Home Decorator tv show on the ingame television.
The ones from tv shows/movies, fairy tales, and mythology all get suitable traits with homes and jobs to support these things.
So my game world looks very entertaining when one of these people walk by or interact with whoever I'm playing at time. I'll play each for a bit to create their general direction, then release them to the wild so they can cause chaos.

@Midevil_Chaos This is such a late reply. Lol. Apologies, I was quite busy this weekend. There's never enough time in a day for my liking.
The oboe?! Lol, I've heard they're one of the most complicated instruments to learn, and one of the most expensive too. so I've never encountered anyone yet with a handy oboe to have a go on ๐. So I have no idea how they sound without experience. But when I was in middle school, the majority of my class had clarinet lessons. My gosh did it sound bad, you could hear the lesson for miles around I'm sure! ๐คฃ 20-30 kids without any experience of any musical instrument, with basically loud flutes is not something I'd like to hear again! Lol.
As for YouTube, I watch quite a bit. I enjoy quite varying content, no specific genre. A bit like my taste in music, if I like it, I like it usually. But as for making my own content, maybe one day. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so would want to make sure everything was just how I wanted it if I ever started. (Wow, I sound like a control freak big time ๐) My neurotic ways for real!
As for the emojis, they're Microsoft emojis. Click on the right side of the mouse, then in the drop down menu the first option should be the emoji selection bar. Hope I explained it well enough. โ (โหโหโ) โ

You're good! ๐ My mom moved into a residence with a pharmacy, nurses etc. It's actually an apartment complex for older individuals. She's literally 5 minutes away, walking distance from where I lived. She used to live in a city that was maybe 20 minutes away by car. So I was helping with that. If anything, I do appreciate your words though, as they are very thoughtful. ๐ค
Yeah, the oboe! I've no idea how it sounds either lol. I don't play any instruments myself, but I wish I could play the piano. Maybe one day I'll try. For now though, I'd rather not think about music class from my childhood. We had to take music in elementary school and I hated it so much - I actually hated my school - high school was much better. I'm just grateful I didn't have to take it in more than once. How was music class for you? Did you enjoy it? I think I personally didn't because I didn't like my school back then. But it sounds like you're saying that your ears were bleeding from those other people playing clarinet. I used to play the plastic flute. I was terrible at it, everyone was as well I think LOL. I just hope I wasn't one of those people that made your ears bleed. ๐
"[A]s for making my own content, maybe one day. I'm a bit of a perfectionist, so would want to make sure everything was just how I wanted it if I ever started." OMG, I am the EXACT same way. What you're saying makes perfect sense. When I write books, I actually re-read my PDFs like 5 times. Granted, it takes a hell of a long time... but I need/want them to be perfect before publishing them lol. I swear, when I re-read something later down the road once published, I cringe LOL. I'm always like, "man, this could be better" all. the. time. So, it's not just you.
Oh my God... it was that simple? Thank you lol. ๐คฃ - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
You're Welcome! ๐
Moving is extremely difficult whether it's yourself, or helping someone close to you. But sometimes it's needed. I hope your mom is happy and healthy in her new home, and hopefully settles in quickly.๐
We had move last year because the landlord was selling up. Difficult is seriously not the word when it comes to moving. Especially if your not a millionaire, the prices of removal companies are ridiculous, so my mom and I moved the majority ourselves. Honestly you really can't be moved fully (everything in your house) for under 4 grand, or at least that was the majority of prices I saw. And the PRICES of cardboard boxes! seriously, I could complain for months about this, In fact I have done if I'm being real. ๐คฃ (I do realise though that being a removal worker is a hard manual job, so they do deserve to be paid well so I'm not angry about them.)
I completely understand what you mean about reading everything over before you finalise it. I do the exact same thing, even with books, I just have to double check (and in most occasions more than that.)To make sure I read it right! I always thought it's a type of OCD with me, but I'm beginning to think it's normal. I know how annoying it is to have that problem so I completely empathise. I also get how you can cringe at your old work. Who doesn't right?! Most people feel it when they hear themselves back on a video (I know I do๐ ) .
And I didn't mind music lessons at all, as long as the lesson wasn't math I was okay with it. Can't say school was something I enjoyed though, do many children enjoy school though? It's very difficult, I don't know many people who weren't bullied at school in some form, because kids can be really cruel.
And yes, I also played the clarinet badly, I found it hilarious at the time (and still do๐) how bad we all made it sound, now I feel bad for the poor teacher who had to hear it! ๐คฃ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
She actually called me a bit ago. She says she's happy where she lives now. She used to live an apartment complex for war veterans, but non-vets could apply to live there if no vet applied to live there. Which is what she did at the time, but that place wasn't very practical. Her new place is better.
Jeez. 4 grand? When I moved several years ago, it cost us under a grand to move. Also, here you can rent plastic boxes from a company that all they do is rent those boxes out. Someone comes and gives you them, and then once you're done, they take them back. It was something like $150-200 for that service if I recall correctly. How much did you pay for your boxes? The advantage of plastic boxes is that you don't have to dispose of them, and someone does the job of removing them from your place.
I think the worst thing is hearing your own voice... *shudders at the thought of hearing my own voice*. There is nothing more horrifying than hearing yourself speak. Everyone else thinks you sound fine, but you know they're lying. How could they not be? ๐คฃ And then when they tell you that you don't sound that bad when playing an instrument when you know you're terrible, oh! You know they're double-lying at that point! ๐

@Midevil_Chaos Glad your mom is happy in her new home. ๐
We just used old amazon boxes, and plastic cases. I was just browsing one day and stumbled upon a devoted cardboard box website (never thought I'd type that๐). I wasn't going to bother with anything not reusable, but was browsing to see what sort of prices moving companies charge. And I accidently found a website a little bit like U-Haul, but all about selling boxes and similar items. The prices were ridiculous IMO, 350 for 10 boxes! I think I didn't spend long on the website though. Lol.
All I learnt is there really is a website for everything. I even found a website for beekeepers with articles such as: "How to move over 50 bee boxes for professionals ๐". I only searched for reusable boxes. Lol. 10/10 content though! I love a good bumble bee. โฟ๐ I've never really liked the taste of honey though. Let the bees enjoy their honey, they hard work for it. I was almost going to put a little pun in there about donna summer's song 'she works hard the money' but thought it was way too cringe. ๐ ๐คฃ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Thanks! ๐Wait, what? You kept a number of amazon boxes so you could use them one day to move? ๐ฎ Dedication right there! I wish I had that type of storage to be able to keep several dozen of those lol. That being said, yeah, that much for 10 boxes is a joke LOL. We actually have a company here that will literally pack up your stuff for you (which actually did that for our mom since you know...), and that cost 3 grand. So we definitely would not have spend money on boxes even if we could. It's ridiculous to think that someone would think it's a good idea. I dunno know, rich people don't care I guess.
How... are they even in business? ๐คจ lol. I've never in my entire life seen a beehive, and typically people would not move a beehive. Too much can go wrong. ๐ And I agree, I'm not a fan of honey either. Unless I'm sick, then I may mix honey and tea, or honey and peanut butter (toasts). I'm not grossed out by foods in general or anything, but I usually don't like things that are either too sweet or too salty. It's like when you buy chips, traditional chips are VERY salty, which is why I tend to buy less salted chips. As for food that may have sugar like muffins etc., I do NOT accept food like that from coworkers. I did twice, and found myself disgusted, while everyone else thought they were amazing. Never again.
And you made me think of Lisa in her 80s dancing garb while she was dancing to 80s music. I think? lol. It's been decades since I saw that episode. - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos I flattened any boxes that I got from around September to February time, and built them up again with some scotch tape. Suffice to say though I'm a bit of a hoarder (just in case I need it, is my excuse). ๐ I certainly don't have as much space in my new house compared to my old one. I don't know if you've seen how large amazon pantry boxes are, but just two of them not flattened is enough to fill my entire house, Lol. Lowkey though, just one amazon pantry box could fill a medium size family home. They. Are. Huge *Donald Trump Impression*
As for the bees, I think the website was just a beekeeping specialist website. It didn't offer a service, just many pages on beekeeping, and how to give your bees a new bee box, and moving bee boxes like a professional. ๐ I plant flowers that bees like in my garden, but don't have a bee box, nor have I seen one in person myself, but kudos to them for looking after such cute stinging pollinators! ๐
I too love most food, I'm quite a foodie, but like you, I dislike overly sweet things, or way to salted, I also don't like it when chips are overly flavoured too. Take the cheese and onion flavour for example, I love onion, and love cheese but I'm eating chips here and I'd like the taste the potato, which I also love! Love isn't strong enough word for the way I feel about onions and potatoes. (How Irish of me ๐) My ancestors and me agree on food choices.
And yes! The Simpsons is legendary. It really is the show that paved the way for all mature cartoons like Family Guy, South Park, and so many more! I always think The Simpsons is a family friendly show with a mature twist, and others after that got inspired and realised cartoons can be for anyone of any age. ๐ โฟโ โฟโ โฟ

I get some Amazon packages, but the only boxes I've seen are standard size lol. So... what do you order that is SO massive in size? If it fills up an entire room, THAT is one huuuuuge box LOL. I couldn't imagine any of those boxes fitting through a door. ๐
I don't like bees, they are hurtful *me/ shaking fist a bees*. I remember when I'd get stung when I was a child, my grandmother would use soil to get the dart out. How or why, I don't know lol. It worked, that's all I know. ๐คฃ
For chips, I don't mind flavours as much, depending on the actual flavour, but the salt? God, that is horrible if it's too much of it. Otherwise, some flavours can be overpowering for sure. I've tasted several and they are meh. What perplexes me is how we have some flavours that other countries don't have, like Ketchup flavoured chips. Mind you, they actually taste good. ๐ When I heard channels in the US talking about Canadian chips as foreign food, I was confused as to how US companies sold us those types of chips, but not in the US. At least, not for a long time.
I absolutely love South Park. It's just one of those shows that doesn't care about political correctness. The Simpsons stopped being the Simpsons for me once they upgraded their tv to a flatscreen, got a laptop etc. How do you go from a kid having a tube tv to magically having a flatscreen tv and a modern laptop? After that, it lost its magic. That, and I vastly prefer(red) Futurama. At least with Futurama, everything is futuristic, so they could be like: "here's a new type of tv or stadium grass" or whatever, and it would make sense because they are literally a millennium ahead of us.
I didn't realize you had Irish roots too :D ๐ Do you have red hair? I've got a red beard, though I am lazy at times when it comes to trimming it down or shaving it lol.
