That's okay! Helping your Mom is much more important, I also have trouble finding time to play games, it's like when you've finally got some time, it's time to go to sleep. ๐
I will look into Gardens Of The Moon, I've read a few books lately that have been a bit poor so it'd make a difference to read a good book. ๐
I'm enjoying DAI! Great recommendation. I can't believe I hadn't played it after 8 years of it being out. Maybe they'll announce the next Dragon Age after I've finally played the other games too. ๐ I just hope you enjoy my favourite game too! ๐
I might go ahead and tell her through her animal crossing bulletin board that I'm doing a Iron Bull free playthrough. She'll freak out! ๐คฃ I think she had an idea I'd go for someone else! ๐ She just wanted me to see Iron Bull with a dwarf!! LOL.
I'm glad you can relate to not watching Game Of Thrones! Living under a premium rock is something I can definitely vibe with. ๐คฃ
YES! Sera doesn't p*ss me off as much as other people, she's just strange which I find funny during serious quests. I didn't know she swung that way, I've been educated! ๐ I knew Dorian did, as my friend also wanted me to go ahead and romance him and Iron Bull at the same time playing as a male dwarf. ๐ณ๐
I'm interested to hear Blackwall's story. His beard is hiding a lot then I gather! ๐
I like Cullen's style. ๐ I did actually choose Cullen for more than his nice jacket really. Especially the fact that his tarot card doesn't make him look good, so had to feel for him there ๐คฃ
You dug a hole with the Chewbacca thing didn't you?! ๐ Chewbacca is based on a newfoundland after all, so how could he not be a cute little doggo. but anyone liking him in any other way is NOT accepted! ๐คฃ
Morality is a big theme in The Witcher actually, some choices did make me think there was no actual right one. So if Dragon Age is the same I'm going to be as flustered as I was choosing some decisions as I was in TW3. ๐ I get what you mean about some sauces. Some are just awful. I tried satay sauce once, and never forgot how much it shocked me with how much I disliked it. I love Mayo with a passion though! Absolute top tier sauce. My love for mayo has shown...now I must leave *dramatically leaves with mayonnaise, much to the anger of ketchup* ๐
Yeah, agreed!
And totally, though in my case, it's more like... Oh, I have to go work now. Where did the time go? Right, eating and trying to wake up. ๐
What I adore about DAI, is that even by today's standards, it's a pretty damn good game graphics wise and especially game play mechanic wise. I am absolutely shocked when I play other games like Jedi Fallen Order, and the controls aren't as good. Like what the hell?
Hopefully I will, too early to tell lol. But, I do love the fact that gog incorporated mods though. Thus, I have no idea what's the real experience of the game is supposed to be like.
To quote whoever coined this term, "you go girl!" And pleeeeease tell me her reaction. If she disavows you, I wanna know. Ok, and what is this thing about dwarves and other species together??? Ooooooooooh! I remember my second run of Dragon Age Origins. I had a Dwarf female, and she was dating this [I guess] good looking guy (I think? You can tell me if you ever play the original - I honestly can't tell lol). Anyhow, at some point, one of the responses was akin to her saying something like how she can't believe he's into her. And then he says something like, "Oh, you know how good looking you are! You were just fishing for a compliment". To be fair, my female Dwarf was cute lol. But like... Dwarves in general... not my type of specie if they actually existed. Now I will stop talking before I embarrass myself. ๐
Oh yeah, Blackwall is... quite the character if you decide to have a vested interest in him, be it romantic or otherwise. That being said, you will learn a lot about Cullen though with him. His story does get interesting in the long run.
As for Dorian, such a good friend. Good one. Didn't realize you met him.
As for Chewbacca... ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Nothing like a good bromance? ๐ Realtalk though, I have zero interest in their specie. The only cross-specie I would be ok with as a human would be with Elves and Elven sub-races. I've said enough about this topic. ๐
Hopefully you are content with your choices. ๐
*dramatically leaves and takes the mayo from your hands and grab a bottle of ketchup, as I swing both ways. Who doesn't?* ๐๐๐ And if I'm feeling even more adventurous and want to live dangerously, I may add some relish. ๐
Again... *me/ walk of shame* as you would probably appreciate these types of jokes a la Austin Powers, had you seen the movies.

Glad I made you laugh with my odd late night ramblings! ๐
So I got a reply from my friend! ๐ She said "I HAVE NO WORDS! VANILLA CULLEN! 4 REAL!? WAT WERE U THIKIN' GURL. OMGG THE DWAARFS HAVE BEEN CHEATED OUT OF RIDIN' THE BULL!! I WILL NOW ANNOY UR VILLAGERS IN AN ATTEMPT TO SERVE JUSTICE 4 DWAARFF KINDD! ๐คฃ She even linked a video on YouTube of a dwarf playthrough with Iron Bull, LOL. Gotta say, it was hilarious, she was right about me finding it ridiculously funny. ๐ She has a habit of wanting me to playthrough games with silly choices that are usually very funny, but I'm trying to playthrough all serious and such! Lol. Don't know how I'll break it to her that I'll probably never play as a dwarf! ๐
You're right! I haven't met Dorian yet, I was just told about him by my friend, in great detail as per usual. ๐ She's the type of person that can't let you go into a game without knowing anything, I don't think she can resist if she likes the game! ๐ BTW isn't Vivienne such a amazing badass character! I weirdly really like her. ๐
*Doesn't have any valid comeback for such thieving* ๐ I have to admit I have watched some Austin Powers, I used to have a friend in school that loved those movies and would want me to rewatch them with him ๐ YEAH BABY! Was a favourite saying of his, much to the embarrassment of his mother. ๐ And that was like 10-15 years after the first film was released, think she regretted buying him them. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
I'm glad you're glad, and I laughed today as well lol. ๐๐๐
I guess I'll have to steer clear from your friend forever now. I'm ok with that, I don't think she'd have enjoyed my life choices... erm, I mean ingame decisions. Did she literally say "riding the bull"? What the hell. I know exactly what she means, but damn girl. I think we now know exactly why she plays the game. Hopefully she has not used her influence to taint your soul, as I'd be disappointed if she did. ๐
That being said, if you ever need to break it to her, don't worry, I'll be more than happy to have your back.
I may one day do a playthrough with a dwarf, but will finish with my current run first... once I actually get back into it. ๐คฃ
Oh! You haven't met Dorian yet. Ah, I see. Well then, you'll either love or hate him. Not sure there is an in between, unless you really wanna break his heart. But! Since you're playing as a female, that won't happen, obviously.
Girl, Vivienne... is a hell of a character. Again, you will either love OR hate her in terms of what she does (not personality). You'll see why in the long run. I won't spoil it, but she is definitely quite the character!
I love Austin Powers. Such great movies, and a great character! Somehow though... I don't think you'd want me to speak to you like if I was imitating Austin Powers, ๐๐๐ despite the fact that it would most likely be funny.
I have played some more TW3 btw. Man, combat is hard as hell lol. I barely survived an encounter with a bear. But now I met Yennefer though - she is good looking in terms of appearance and attire as well. Best female character in the game so far... Not hard to beat at this point, considering I only met peasants and a witch. ๐ As for the inn's owners, they are complete ingrates. Like, I just saved your life, and yes the patron's head just rolled onto the floor, but come on! I saved your life. I swear, the way people treat you in the game? Pfff.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Haha! She's got a great sense of humour. I'm not to sure whether she can put up with mine sometimes. ๐คฃ And yes that's exactly how she wrote it! I spit out my drink when I read it as I wasn't expecting all caps and the quote 'riding the bull'. ๐
I literally have added every single possible character addition to the inquisition, I didn't even question them on why, I was just like "Yeah sure, you can join". ๐ I'm even more intrigued by Vivienne now! I let her join without asking her any questions as well because I loved her introduction so much! ๐คฃ
I recommend playing on story only difficulty, at least for the first time anyway, I know I did (such a pro gamer I am). ๐๐
Yennefer is stunning! A lot of people are put off by her personality when they don't know her well. But that's her, she's a contrast, black and white, lilac and gooseberries, all opposites just like her personality. She's very complicated, but loves Geralt and Ciri and puts that above everything and anybody else. Even though she comes across as maybe a little abrasive in some people's opinion, I love her character personally. In the games there's a certain sorceress you meet early on that hasn't got a massive cameo but she's got some of my favourite quotes in the game, She's a sort of a take her or leave her sort of character too. But I also love her character. ๐
For sure! The Inn keep is so ungrateful. She's actually one of the most annoying characters in the game. And she literally only has a tiny part, ๐ but I always get annoyed at her every time! As do most Witcher players though, so it's not just us! ๐
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
I assumed she wrote it like that. And I was loving all of it! ๐คฃ I dunno if she can put up with yours. Thankfully I can! ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ I'm not sure she could deal with mine either, especially not some Austin Powers one, which don't worry, I seldom use it. I may not be as charming as Austin Powers, but at least I have better looking teeth. ๐ Don't quote me on the before last before. *me/ pensive* ๐ค
Ok, have own getting backstabbed by one of them at some point. ๐ I'm just kidding though. But seriously though, yeah, you can add random people who make no sense sometimes, that you're like, "Yes! Wait, was that person maybe a maniacal serial killer or something?" As for Serra, you think she's funny... but wait until you see more of her down the stretch. Hopefully you'll learn more about her. God, please don't, please don't torture yourself. ๐
I... Am playing on the easiest difficulty, that's how I beat the bear finally lol. ๐ Just like you, I'm a pro gamer! Ironically, I beat the entire Mass Effect trilogy on the highest difficulty. I can't even beat a bear on the 2nd lowest difficulty. ๐๐๐ I guess that's one of the reasons why we hate FPS games, right? Aside the fact that FPS games are just bad lol.
I can't say I have any issues with Yennefer. Better than the protagonist, and she looked good in her attire. Like dude, why can't MY character look as good as Yennefer. I wish I WAS playing as Yennefer. ๐
I can't wait to meet Ciri, since I'd like to know how they make her look and sound. That's assuming you meet her, for all I know, she might have been kidnapped or worse, murdered by those frosty knights.
Thank you! I feel vindicated. The evil side of my character wanted to burn the inn down. ๐ I wish you could play as evil though, like in Neverwinter Nights (OG). Don't get me wrong, I'm the sweetest person you'll meet lol, but I do enjoy my share of ingame fun. It makes games like Neverwinter Nights (OG) more interesting, as you have to solve things a different way, which may sometimes be harder.
EDIT: OMG, I know it's really old school and I keep talking about it... but you could totally buy Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition at 85% off on GOG right now :D So you can play as a complete saint or a complete devil lol. I think ima buy it :D Some people say they don't like that edition, but you can install the Diamond edition instead. It actually allows you to install both. Sorry if I keep talking about it, I enjoyed that game so much when I was younger, and excited to have bought it lol. And compared to the Dragon Age franchise, it has way more races, and especially way more classes AND prestige classes (which are "better" classes... and A LOT of them). - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
I told her that I'm not going to do a dwarf playthrough anytime soon, and she sent me this link explaining her reaction AHHHHH - YouTube ๐๐ Any normal playthrough is 'vanilla' in her opinion, but I think vanilla is an amazing flavour. ๐ฆ๐
Easiest difficulty is the WAY, Lol. If I played on harder difficulties in some games I'd have never finished them. ๐ Me being such a pro gamer *sarcasm intended*
BTW if you aren't into Geralt's outfit, the ursine armor is a nice one when you get the diagrams to craft it. There's others too, but that's one of my favourites in the base game. My favourite in the game plus DLC's is the manticore armor, I like that armor the most. ๐
Also the wild hunt are elves from their own realm, it's explained in the game, but not to the point I appreciated (Me being a diva ๐). It's difficult to know that straight off the bat if you've not read the books. They dress in such unusual outfits it's hard to actually know they're elves. ๐
It's absolutely fine to talk about your favourite games with passion! I get all nerdy about The Witcher TBH. ๐ I completely get that there's some games that have a place in your heart for many different reasons! I will totally look into NWN after my DAI playthrough. ๐โ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
That does not sound like an upset woman there, your friend ๐ So... I guess she decided to remain friends with you after all lol.In many games, I usually play Human since they have some basic advantages that other races just don't have. That being said, other viable races are either Elves or Half-Elves (if the game has them). As for Dwarves, I only played as one in the original Dragon Age Origins. I mean, I get why people find it hilarious playing as them. ๐ That being said, NWN has so many races and even more classes that it's insane to think you could have a fav class. ๐คฃ
I concur. Playing on harder difficulty in modern games is like a death sentence for your character. I mean, for real, how is the easiest difficulty something I consider to be maybe like a 3 out of 6 in terms of difficulty? ๐ And then, the second highest is like a new game+ type of thing, but without your stuff and a considerably higher difficulty level because you don't have end game stuff. Don't worry, I know you're a pro gamer. E-Sport gamers have nothing on you. Nothing. I promise! I should know, I'm as good as you :D
There are legit some games I have NEVER finished because I just couldn't because the end boss (or near end boss) was so difficult. If I recall correctly, the PS2 game which I loved called Lord of the Rings: The Third Age, had this specific way of weakening the near end boss and all... I was like: "wtf is this?" As for Final Fantasy XII, which is the worst of the bunch... I couldn't beat the end boss. I was like: "...Uhm, so doing minimal damage to a boss that has 2+ million HP. Ok... ok. I'm screwed" I just gave up at that point. For the first one, it's a shame, since The Third Age is a great RPG imo. Fairly good characters and a good story. I just don't have the patience to have to perform specific types of attacks in order to really weaken the enemy, and then use further attacks to improve my own attacks, and THEN attack - sure, lemme try like 30 combinations and see what hurts the boss ๐ . Older RPGs never had that type of bs. Older RPGs were simple: Attack and/or use magic, and items if need be, period.
Ima consider that armour your referred to. That is... if I ever get the diagram for it ๐ The one I have right now looks like a red and white padded armour. ๐คฃ
Major spoiler girl loooool. I did not know they were Elves. I thought they were some evil badasses that looked awesome, and terrifying at the same time. Wait, so are you calling ME a diva as well, because I'd want all those explanations in plain sight (in the game)? Well, there goes all my spirit as a man, now a diva. ๐๐๐ I can't pull that off as a "diva". I know I can't cut it as one. Unless you wanna teach me how to be a manly diva like James Harden. ๐ (if you don't watch b-ball, don't worry, I'm not a huge huge fan of b-ball). This is what I am referring to about James Harden (such a popular gif):
Awwwww, you are a sweetheart! ๐ Aside from the clearly dated graphics, lemme know what you think of the story and game mechanics. If you play the game, if you meet a Dwarven Monk... Please get him. That guy can be hilariously dark. I mean, there are some very interesting characters in the game. Lemme say this: the Neverwinter Nights (OG) is literally the reason why Dragon Age as well as The Witcher franchises exist. It defined the genre in a way that was based on story. Not only was it driven by story, but driven by character development. If there is one thing I know you would appreciate is everything that you can do in the original game (plus expansions). There's no game, imo, that ever came close to Neverwinter Nights (OG - not to confused with the MMO of the same name) that did what they did with a game. Maybe it's my younger self speaking, but what can I say? lol.
If anything, I'm happy I can share things with you that I couldn't with others. Which is the reason why I'm actually trying a game I never would have otherwise. It's nice to be able to connect with someone in that way, since most of the time people won't care about XYZ. I've never met another gamer where either they were actually interested in something I had to say in regards to specific games (regardless of the game's age), or where I was like: "yeah I'll try that game [because you're recommending it]". That, and you do make me laugh.๐ Oh! And the fact that I was the person who finally convinced you to play DAI, that's golden [in a good way]! ๐ค๐ค๐ค
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Amazingly well written reply, I could never! Lol.
What's hilarious about the Dwarfs too, is the fact the game mechanics make them instantly grow taller for certain cutscenes. ๐
I get what you mean about some games being so tricky you can't finish them! I have had that problem with some, but I've usually realised my difficulty was just one mark above easiest. ๐คฃ
OMG I'm so sorry I spoilt that for you! But I will still say they are still evil badasses that just happen to be elves ๐ James Harden's expression is how I felt when I saw some armor in TW3, LOL. I get what you mean by the red padded armor! ๐๐คฃ BTW, fun fact, I think you should get along with Geralt seen as your a ISTJ and on the 16 personalities website they consider Geralt a ISTJ. ๐
There really are games that are certified OG status! Games that start a precedent of games with themes that go deeper than a FPS (Sorry to FPS games ๐). And you find yourself going back to those games that have that fuzzy feeling about them, I know I do. Even games that aren't even known by many but they have a special place for me, sometimes it's because it just gives you major nostalgia or just because you love them! Like how annoying the Mii music was, and now it's certified platinum (at least to me anyway) ๐
And thank you! ๐โ I completely understand what you mean about people being put off because of a games age, I'm not as I looveee so many games that are considered little older now, they don't deserve just to be ignored because they might be older than a year or two. I think you were spot on about DAI holding up to this day, graphics wise too, I think the same about TW3 and they're basically the same age. With Dragon Age I was always like "hmm should I play it, it looks like a game I'd like" but never played it for some reason, but with it being one of your favourite games of all time, I couldn't ignore that. ๐ I also haven't purchased a new game from EA in ages, and by ages I mean years. ๐ Living under a premium rock problems! Lol.
Edit: Completely forgot to suggest to put the gwent level to the easiest too, as it really took me some time to learn how to play it properly. ๐คฃ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Thanks! Not sure what was great, but I accept the compliment. ๐
The moment you realize you suck at a game, and that the second difficulty is too hard for some reason compared to the first difficulty is the instant you know someone programmed difficultires but forgot to program them ingame. ๐
Gwent? Yeah... that thing is like the weirdest thing to understand playing honestly LOL. Like... you want me to tell you when I think I can win? Ok, sure, ok game.
Male Dwarf character: "My love grows for you every aching moment I am without you."
Female Human character: "Is this why you are now as tall as I am, my love?"
I almost wrote an entire love dialogue lol, but decided it may be too much XD I actually really want to LOL, since that's what I'm good at lol. I'd try for it to not be cheesy.
Naw, you're alright. I should have figured humans don't recklessly use magic in this game. ๐คฃ That and the fact that they are called the Wild Hunt. Only Elves live in the forest. Even Lord of the Rings know that. ๐
Sometimes, I wonder what type of colour blind blacksmith and armour smith existed that thought they were creating a masterpiece. Like for real. Guy thinks red and white are great colour combinations. Commander of the army be like: "Yes indeed! Let us hide within these luscious ferns and trees. The enemy will obviously never see us!"
You hated the Wii music? Interesting. I know some youtubers say they liked it. I guess it might have been either you love or hate it type of thing. I actually never paid attention to it. ๐ So... I literally have no opinion about whether I liked it or not back then.
Awwwww, that is so sweet that you did the test multiple times just to see what types of people were like me. I prefer thinking that than you googling it or something. ๐
You said: "With Dragon Age I was always like "hmm should I play it, it looks like a game I'd like" but never played it for some reason, but with it being one of your favourite games of all time, I couldn't ignore that"
That is definitely the sweetest thing anyone could do when it comes to gaming. I do appreciate your words, thank you! ๐ค๐ค๐ค Rather, I should say in general, as gaming is a real investment time wise. Especially for a game like that. It means a lot to me. Thank you :D I know it may sound corny saying all this, but I have been a gamer all my life, and it's always nice having someone who actually gets it.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Believe it or not, Gwent has a standalone game! ๐ That's how iconic it is! Lol.
Lol! I wouldn't of minded a full Dwarf story! ๐
Maybe that was the aim of the red and white armor, for everyone to see them and be like "ohhh, those guys are looking snazzy in that hedge over there" then the enemy would be so distracted with the colours, they get surrounded and captured. 10/10 design IMO. ๐คฃ
It's a nice thought to think I'd actually have enough patience to do that test multiple times, but I don't. ๐คฃ Here's the page for all the personalities. Personality Types | 16Personalities
I didn't hate the Mii music, I actually always grooved with it, ๐คฃ but it does get very repetitive if you spent too long in the Mii channel, but if you didn't it was fine. ๐
Thank you! ๐ As for DAI I've sided with the mages because..well....they're mages so why wouldn't I, Lol. It seems my mage inquisitor is extremely biased. ๐คฃ I must admit I didn't even know I was making a big choice at the time. ๐
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
I know lol, I saw the game on Steam... but the TW3 version looks so much better than the standalone game (go figure). ๐
Strangely enough, Ciri (adult) looks way better made than Ciri (kid). The kid version looks like she's a Dwarf that somehow grew into a Human body. ๐คฃ
I dunno? It's possible they went with that design choice? But I know thing, my Geralt is going to murder that person regardless. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
Oh come on! You weren't supposed to admit that about the personality test. ๐๐๐ Now I don't feel special anymore, well I feel... special, but not not in a good way now. ๐คฃ
You should totally get your Wii out, and place it on loops for several hours. That being said, there are videos online about stuff like Nyan Cat, Gandalf Sax, Where has the Rum gone?, They're Taking the Hobbits to Isengard! etc., and then loops for 10 hours (if you search for the 10 hour versions). Those are GREAT, I love them. I would sometimes play those videos, usually for at least several hours. But, I could understand how someone may not necessarily want to. ๐
Oh yeah! You were making THE choice of a lifetime. I am surprised you are THAT far honestly. Damn...
Currently, I am brawling with some guys and just became champion of the port city (the one before you set sail). Going back to Velen first though to become champion there. That being said, I'm only doing it for the money lol. Good money to be made from all the fights together. As for the story thus far, well, the Baron is dead. So is his wife. Wasn't my plan for this to happen, but what can you do? I didn't like the Baron, I thought he was a maniacal wife beater who enjoyed making a fool of himself.
Well then, if you want a story... let me create one of for you. Starting with several paragraphs for Chapter 1 of a story I will call "The Golden Age of Chaos".
Characters (Male Dwarf: Hornack, Female Human: Selene, Male Human: Craven. Best I can do on such short notice, as I usually take a while to come up with names (and titles). ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ The rest to come later I guess). Thus, here are the first bits of a story just for you, Katie:
Hornack: "My love grows for you every aching moment I am without you."
Selene: "Is this why you are now as tall as I am, my love?"
Hornack: "Laugh all you will, but we both know the pain in your heart is what lets that sadness burst out of your chest. It has become your way of protecting that fragile love for me.
I may be a lowly Dwarf from the Mining Caste, yet I know the worth of gold is nothing in comparison to that bond we share. Aye, 'tis true that many have threatened our love because they couldn't stomach how such a beautiful woman such as yourself could adore a Dwarf like myself."
As he softly spoke to Selene, she became teary eyed as she couldn't imagine a life devoid of his love. Slowly, her hand delicately caressed his face.
Selene: "I... I am sorry. I too know the pain in your heart. I wish it wasn't so. The moment I met you all those years ago, I knew I would love you. There was a brightness within you, a light that would drive the darkness from my heart, when I had nothing to live for. I was at the precipice of the end, as I felt no one understood the spirit within my heart."
As she spoke those words, melancholy grasped at Hornack's heart. Feint tears rolled down his cheeks as he knew that their love felt forbidden. He then gently placed his hand upon hers, still on his face.
Hornack: "Don't you dare cry for me! I am here now, which is what does matter. The night your brother Craven came, I remember the ominous night sky as we drowned in pourin' rain. Hand in sword, he told me he would kill me should I pursue the one I loved - you. Then, in a flash as he drew his sword, I was ashamed I had to fight the brother of the woman I loved. When it was all said and done, he laid in my arms and said, "I will haunt you for the rest of your life if you ever hurt her..." as he then faded from this world."
Selene: "Oh! Do not blame yourself! Even though I mourn the loss of my brother, he was mad! To think he knew better than me when it came to you, I..."
Falling on her knees, she burst out in tears, and her hands covering her eyes as she cried. Knowing full well the rest of her life would feel like a cursed existence, Selene vowed to herself to never let her kin dictate the person she would be. Truly being her height now, Hornack clutched her. His left hand clasped the back of her head, towards his chest.
Hornack: "There will be a place for you and me, sweetheart. If not here, then perhaps in the mines or in the greenery of a distant land. Wherever you are, I will be there with you and for you. I couldn't imagine a life where you are but a distant memory. As for your brother, I truly am sorry he had to die by my hands. I... can't imagine how the death of your twin brother must feel. Aye, though I suspect that there is a hollow feeling where your heart is.
Every day will be a painful reminder that your life is but a half-life. I'll never be able to fill it, but at the end of it all: I promise I will be the one to bury you so you never have to bury me. You've suffered so much already, and I couldn't bear the thought of you having to suffer more than you need to."
Selene: "Thank you, my love"
----------------------------------------------
Alright, I gotta go cheer up now lol. I had to feel those emotions in order to write that lol.

Wasn't my plan for this to happen, but what can you do? I didn't like the Baron, I thought he was a maniacal wife beater who enjoyed making a fool of himself.
This is part 1. Trying to save this and add part 2. - Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Part 2 of message above:

MY GOODNESS!! THAT WAS AMAZING! HOW DID YOU WRITE A FULL BLOWN STORY SO FAST! ๐ฎ๐ You weren't kidding when you said you can write! I'm very impressed. I honestly didn't expect that when I said to go for it! ๐ Selene and Hornack finally have the canon they deserve, and Hornack will not just be seen as a comedy figure that grows randomly, but a sweet little *pun intended* Dwarf with feelings. ๐คฃ
BTW, you're spot on about Ciri! I thought the exact same thing! I put it down to child Ciri not being in the game much. But I thought she looked like a Dwarf too LOL. In the books she's described as being tall, around 5'9 I think, she also has elven roots, and they're always described being a tall race in the books, although Yennefer is a quarter elf and in the books is described as being petite, so it seems there isn't a rule. ๐ I think CDPR worked hard on Ciri's adult character design though, and it shows compared to child Ciri's design for sure. ๐
I read your reply before I walked my dog around an hour ago and all of my walk I had They're Taking The Hobbits To Isengard! stuck in my head LOL. I get what you mean with meme songs being strangely catchy ๐ I know way too many, Like the Wii shop song mixed with September, Earth, Wii & Fire - YouTube And All Star mixed with the Mii Music, Wii Theme but its All Star - YouTube And way too many more, Like I said my brain only absorbs knowledge that's unhelpful in a important situation like for example "Ugh, I need help adding this up, any chance you're good at math?" My brain: X-Files birb meme - YouTube "I'll get a calculator" ๐
Also, I didn't think I was that far into DAI, I think I'm maybe 6-7 hours into the game, so maybe that is long but hasn't felt it! ๐ I'm am surprised how far you are in TW3 too! You must've met Keira then, she's the one I was referring too when I said about a certain sorceress being one of my favorites, GAVELLA GLAN is so iconic! ๐ You must've let the spirit out of the tree then! I didn't on my first playthrough as I didn't trust her. I also didn't want her to possess a poor innocent horsey! ๐ I always choose not to let her out because she can't promise she'll actually rescue the children, plus, I actually didn't mind the baron. He isn't all bad IMO. letting the spirit out or not it was one of the hardest choices in the game for me. Also, how did you choose The Witcher 2 questions in Vizima? just out of nosiness. ๐โ
EDIT: You must've had trouble posting that reply as EA want to suppress Dwarf kind. ๐คฃ I keep thinking of other people reading this thread wondering how it got so off topic to become full on Dwarf lore. ๐คฃ๐

@Mrs_K_Desormeaux
I wished I could have written sooner, but I was indisposed earlier. I guess I shall you see your response later.Thank you, I appreciate that. ๐ Nope, definitely not kidding lol. ๐ I've been writing for my than 2 decades, which has been my craft ever since. Although to be fair, my brain is also wired differently than most people. What I wrote wasn't planned at all, it was simply me writing without having to think about it much. Looking at the 2 lines I had written before in the other post, I just added to it. It's hard to explain, but if you are interested I can always tell you a lot more about that (just not in the forum itself lol, as it's personal stuff, but I wouldn't mind sharing with you... if you're interested). I think you would be intrigued.
If anything, your compliment made me smile.
Indeed good miss! He shall grow to be more lol, except in physical stature obviously. A Dwarf can always dream though.
OMG!!! Really, you too? I thought I'd be the only one to think that about Ciri. ๐๐๐ I do like her adult character, and her skills are "baller" as the kids would say. I think they say that. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ If anything, I am so out of touch with the younger generations when it comes to slang words and all that stuff. Once, I think I was around 18 or so, and some younger teen came to me (in the street) and asked me something. I had no idea what he was saying, and when he saw I didn't understand what he was saying, he spoke plainly so I could understand. ๐
You are right, they ARE taking the Hobbits to Isengard. At least, you're safe. You're a whopping 5"4, not 3"6 like them "Hobbitses". But not tall enough to be seen by their patrol. You have the perfect height. ๐ At this point, I need to ask, what is the dog's race? Can I get 3 guesses? I would have to guess either a Terrier, a Cavoodle or the common safe pick: a Chihuahua. If I guessed wrong, my apologies lol.
That was smart with the Earth,
WindWii and Fire song. I didn't know that one existed, it was well made if anything! As for Smash Mouth, I love their song All Star. And you got my fav show on there? (X-Files) - you're tugging at some serious nostalgic heart strings right there. In The Witcher 3, this is what would happen:Guard: "Halt! Who goes there, and what business do you have in Novigrad?"
Katie: "Just selling mushrooms I got from the side of the road. Well, truth be told I actually didn't like these ones, so I actually got them from a few kilometres from there. Then, I met Geralt and I swooned over him, such a handsome wolf".
Guard: "What?"
Me: "I get what she means. Maybe not the part about Geralt because you know, I myself prefer Triss."
Though my character did like her too as you did (Keira), though pretty much proposed to Triss before she was about to depart on a ship. I don't know, I think my character is in a weird love triangle because I've never played the game before (or the other 2 before), and I'm just trying to get to know all of them. ๐๐๐ I'm usually not like that in other games. He even kissed Yennefer, but that was all the AI. I never suggested he do that. I was like, "dude... I'm supposed to control you, not your impulses!"
If anything, so far I like Triss the best. There is both an honesty and independence about her, which I like. I swear, the red hair has nothing to do with it. ๐คฃ
I am ashamed to ask... but what does Gavella Glan mean again? ๐
You are correct, I let the spirit out of the tree. Maybe we met different villains ๐คฃ. Please tell me you saw those 3 horrible witches. ๐๐๐ I saw them and what they were planning to do, and I was like, "ima, not side with them... they look so freaking evil!"
About the children being rescued (or not), here is a spoiler:
SpoilerShe does rescue themOh, as for the questions, I legit looked online who were the people he was referring to. If I liked their backstory more (and/or) preferred their name, I would choose them over whoever else. Or if it was about killing/helping etc. someone, I would go with whether I liked the description of that person (including their name).
Indeed! I had tried like 5-6 times before it posted! EA indeed does not like Dwarves in love with Humans.
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Don't worry about that! I'm annoyingly always late in general, so if I reply later than expected, it's sadly just a problem of mine! ๐
You're very erudite and obviously talented at writing! Honestly, I just think it's a natural talent, people either have that skill or don't. I've noticed that good writers always have an amazing skill of how to put things across, and that isn't a skill you can just have naturally. I know I don't as I always have to elaborate for hours to explain what I originally meant by something. ๐ ๐
Baller! Yes indeed! ๐ It made me laugh thinking of that scenario a younger kid being like "yo yo yo" and some such, and you just staring blankly like "wat?" ยฏ\_(ใ)_/ยฏ I must admit I have had I similar experiences, for example, when I was in high school talking to my friend about something, I can't remember what now, but it was more of an older topic, and she was just staring like ".........." ๐ ๐ I've always acted like a stereotypical grandma so that's probably it. Lol, I instantly thought of this expression ๐
My dog is a Labrador ๐ but I think you were almost there with the Cavoodle guess! ๐
That scenario is really accurate! ๐ I would always want to be a mushroom selling sorceress every time! What's not to like? ๐คฃ I would 100% not be a inconspicuous Mage I'd be like "HeLLo I cAn Do MaGiC, k" even during witch hunts, as I wouldn't be able to get over how cool that was. ๐ ๐ A bit like Keira, which is probably why I like her character so much. ๐
How did I know you'd go for Triss! ๐ My Geralt always romances Yennefer because of canon, Not many people who read the books, or who romance Yennefer like Triss, but I actually really like Triss, personally. I felt her story of unrequited love for Geralt was pretty sad, she was jealous of Yennefer and Geralt's relationship in the books, but learns to overcome her obsessive love for Geralt and easily led nature, and becomes a strong person. There's a lot more but I won't go on explaining some parts as I would go rambling on for too long ๐
Oh and Gavella Glan is just a spell that Keira uses veerrry often in the wondering in the dark quest so it stuck with a lot of Witcher players, including me. ๐๐

@Midevil_Chaos Second Part Of Reply ๐ โ
My choices were: Iorveth's path, but Roche's path is great too, saved Aryan, saved Sรญle, and rescued Triss, and let Letho go. ๐
I know she rescues the children now, but on my first playthrough I was suspicious. ๐ I'm still sus about that tree spirit though, as much as I am about the Crones! ๐คฃ Seen as in one book in game called "She Who Knows" It's suggested that she is their Mother/Creator so I didn't trust any of them, plus my thinking was that she was quite violent in the way she dealt with the villagers so I thought she'd be maybe too dangerous if let out of the tree. But that choice is still very tricky, for sure!
In the Hearts of Stone Expansion there's another amazing redhead too! Thankfully it seems CDPR likes to represent the redhead community! ๐
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
๐๐๐ That's ok. We all have our quirks.
Thank you. ๐ I do appreciate that. Part of it is how to actually use emotions that don't exist in the conventional sense. I'd rather not go in details here in the forum lol, but as I said earlier, I can always let you know personally. I can't speak for other writers, but I'm sure they have their own thing though when it comes to writing.
๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Grandma Katie, with her Labrador. You know what the crazy part is? I was looking at a picture of a Labrador and I thought, I would assume Katie has one, but... those dogs are big generally. Since you're 5"4 I thought maybe that type of dog might be too powerful, as bigger dogs are harder to physically control on walks. This isn't a jab at your height at all, btw. Petite women are awesome, imo anyhow. At least you don't have a Great Dane, as even I would have issues with a Great Dane lol. Mind you, I have seen very muscular men with Chihuahuas. That baffles me, as no one likes Chihuahuas. They bite and scream their heads off. ๐
That being said, I've very straight laced when it comes to conversations. And I can't believe I just used the expression "straight laced". Hi, I'm Archie Andrews! ๐
Would you talk that way using the caps and no caps in the same sentence? I'm sure a guard would be like, "wtf is this? What is she on about?" Then, he would probably accuse you of witchcraft. ๐ But, thank God you'd have Geralt though. He likes witches. At least mine does.
You knew I would ask, why did you think I would prefer Triss? There has to be a reason. Please share! ๐
And don't worry, Triss' love is NOT unrequited in my case. My Geralt actually told her he loved her. She stayed. Technically left, but to Kaer Morhen so she could be safe until his return. Unless he dies. Though I assume he will live. No spoilers! ๐คฃ [coming back to this part 10 minutes later] I just realized there are only men there at Kaer Morhen. Why would she go there? She'll scare them away, as they've probably never seen a woman before. That's funny actually. Like the nerds in the comic book store in The Big Bang Theory when Penny comes in.
From what I gather, you've read at least several books? Did you read all of them? If so, did you play the games because of the books? Or the other way around?
That was epic, the Bart Simpson meme. Say the line Bart! Say it! "I didn't do it!" Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay! Yeah, I can imagine how well this meme is using Keira's spell for a tag line XD
Yes she does! But somehow you decide it wasn't good enough, and sided with the 3 witches. ๐๐๐ I am disappointed in that action, Katie. Naw, I'm just messing with you. I made far worse decisions looooool. And how can we not when you have countless decisions to make.
Alright, let's look at the situation logically: You have 3 psychopaths who want to eat/drink Geralt and Ciri. Then, you have some spirit in the forest. The villagers may die, but at least you don't have people cutting their ears off anymore there, but you also have the Baron's wife dying. Yeah, no good outcome at all in either case. ๐ - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Exactly! ๐ Although my dog does happen to be a Labrador she's on the short side I'd say, just like me ๐ I wouldn't be put off of a large dog anyway as they're usually big sweet things, sometimes the little ones are the worst! ๐ They look small, cute, and unaggressive but underneath all that is an aggressive big dog hiding inside. A lot like Chihuahuas, as you said. ๐ Rottweilers could never mess with a Chihuahua on a bad day. ๐ All the Great Danes I've ever seen have been placid sweethearts, compared to fiery Chihuahua's ๐คฃ
Nothing wrong with saying straight laced, I say worse expressions. But as I said, I do act like a stereotypical Grandma. ๐
I don't think I would talk in a mix of caps and no caps ๐ it was supposed to be an expression of true incompetence as a mage, as I would be. ๐ ๐คฃ I'd be just walking around jamming to bardcore and doing spells whenever I felt like it, I'd just go to a tavern to introduce the locals to bardcore classics like, Aqua - Barbie Girl [Medieval Style Cover] - YouTube. And make the realm's national anthem this Thomas the Tank Engine Theme Tune | Medieval Folk / Bardcore - YouTube. Me being such a scheming Witch. ๐
The reason I knew is because she has red hair! ๐ I think a lot of players where swayed by that, Lol. And the fact you meet her first, plus, she's in the two previous games so players that just played the games but haven't read the books felt more connected to her. ๐ I actually had a really tough time choosing between Yennefer and Triss when I knew nothing about them but their game demeanors. I think Triss's character bio is so accurate when it says she's charming and warm, because she is. Yennefer on the other hand is not the easiest to work out at first. Plus some other characters you might notice aren't keen on her, that's because she never shows her real self to anybody but Geralt and Ciri. Other than with them she has a bit of a barrier up.
Yennefer is actually insecure but puts up a bravado. But with Triss she's bubbly and extroverted, unlike Yennefer. Which is why you'll see the some characters like Triss more than they do Yennefer, other than Ciri of course, as she sees Yennefer as her Mother. Ciri also likes Triss though, but sees her more as a Sister.
Geralt loses his memory in TW1 and doesn't remember anything. So when Triss finds him he only knows what she tells him, which she doesn't tell him anything about Yennefer and Ciri existing until TW2. When she finally tells him about Ciri but doesn't tell the entire truth about Yennefer and their relationship. She makes out it was a toxic relationship, when in truth it wasn't. She just knew if she told him everything he'd leave her and try to find Yennefer And Ciri (Which he inevitably does). In the end she develops more confidence (just like in the books.) and chooses to tell him the full truth when helping him recover his memory with a rose that can be used with magic to recover memories. So I think overall she's actually great, but is very human with feelings, so she makes "mistakes" which I personally think is understandable, not that some of Team Yennefer do. ๐
And I played TW3 before I read anything, or saw anything from the other games, I went into TW3 knowing absolutely nothing, which I think is the best way IMO! Simply because I liked finding out as I went along, sometimes I was confused at some references, but just googled it. ๐
In DAI I found it really funny how my Inquisitor completely ignores her mans advice every time! ๐ Cullen's like "Hey, you know the templars are cool, you should think about siding with them." and my Inquisitor is like "Naw Maggeess, K." I just downloaded some mods to give my elven girly some nice new outfits too, people will start thinking closing the rift is her last priority. ๐ ๐
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Woahh, that was a bit of a ramble wasn't it! ๐ ๐
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Yes! Small dogs are the worst. God, Chihuahua are so bad. My cousins for reasons I'll never understand have those dogs. One of them is in the army... and it's so bizarre seeing him with a Chihuahua. Like dude, why? The Chihuahua is imo truly the only un-cute small dog there is.
Oh man, I didn't realize the Thomas the Train remix was gonna be badass. ๐๐๐ As for the Barbie Girl remix, I'd listen to that in the Medieval Period. How could I not, with a name like mine? Though my name has 2 meanings really. It helps to understand linguistics.
I'd back you up. I'd have both the brains and brawns to do so against those pesky jerks like in TW3 who just attack people for no good reason. ๐
I dunno about that. Straight laced seems... I dunno, boring? ๐คฃ
I don't mind that she's a redhead, but that's not why I like her lol. I like her because she's just awesome. Opposites attract, I guess?
It's not to say that Geralt (or myself for that matter) is cold and distant. Geralt can be cold and distant, I'll grant you that, which is probably why he likes having a warm and fuzzy woman. As for Yenner, she's ok. But... she's more of a schemer. That's my job lol. And don't get me wrong, in terms of beauty and coldness, she's amazing when it comes to that. And her dresses and such, yeah, great fashion in comparison to Geralt. Oh!!! Speaking of which, I found this nice armour thus far called the "Redanian Halberdier's Armor". It's wicked looking, and I got a haircut.
Back to Yennefer, she does seem like the type who uses her beauty and charm to get her way, which is why I don't like her as much as Triss. Again, that's my job lol. In these games, I'll always max out my charm and whatnot, for obvious reasons.
I gathered he had amnesia, has he is quickly reminded of that in the game lol. Feel bad for him now, since he told Triss he loved her. But hey, what can I say? Geralt is a hopeless romantic somehow involved in a love triangle. Nothing strange about that... *facepalm*.
To be fair, I do think the relationship (from what I've seen of Yennefer) is to a certain degree toxic. I can deal with petty jealousy from Triss, but Yennefer's behaviour? Come on!
Cullen is just eye candy I guess(?) We know what type of men you like. ๐คฃ
Yes! Playing Medieval Barbie is fun in games. A lot of people do it... including masculine men. ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ Who says you shouldn't look good when slaying monsters?
Bah! No worries, I prefer rambling as you call it as opposed to silence. ๐
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Masculine man with a chihuahua. They must be the only kind of people that can handle them angry Chihuahuas it seems. ๐
Yes indeed! Thomas The Tank Engine is the kind of badass song you need in your realm to frighten all the other possible invaders. ๐
She is great! CDPR originally weren't going to have Triss as a romanceable option in TW3, but it seems they also have a soft spot for her, as they decided to go ahead and give the player a choice with that. I think you're right there about Triss and Geralt being opposites, Triss is a extrovert and Geralt is a introvert so they compliment each other well.
But I will say that Triss is probably more of a schemer than Yennefer. TBH most sorceresses that Geralt knows are quite scheming, seen as most that he knows are members of the lodge of sorceresses (Which Yennefer never was truly apart of.) Triss does come across as a sweetie (which she is for the most part.) but definitely hides a lot from Geralt to attempt to manipulate him. She also helps scheme with the Lodge Of Sorceresses to get Ciri to be their power piece, but that was because she wasn't confident enough to say no to the other powerful members of the Lodge. In fact in one part of the books she lets herself get extremely ill (which sorceresses are immune to illnesses through the use of magic.) all just to try to get Geralt to look after her so he'd be closer to her as she's basically obsessed with him. ๐ He does indeed look after her, because he undoubtedly cares about her. But he doesn't let her get too close as his main priority is looking after a young Ciri at that point, but she disregards that in her attempt to make him love her like she loves him (Sapkowski was damn too much with that.) ๐ In the end she cries and admits she wants to be in Yennefer's position. I felt bad for her, I know many of Team Yennefer don't agree but I actually like Triss.
It's seriously one of the biggest debates in TW3, if you see some debates on forums or comment sections when Team Yen and Team Triss collide it is seriously crazy af! Some people can't just get over the way others play a game with choices when it's an integral part of the game! Like seriously, can't you just enjoy the game and can share your own opinions without getting so salty and serious about other people's choices? I have read some where people literally spew pure hate for one another just because they prefer one waifu more than another, jeeezz. ๐
Plus, I seriously think CDPR do the Triss romance the best, I actually think it's the cutest one IMO. Even though I choose Yennefer. ๐
Cullen being a medieval Barbie is IT. ๐ Can't deny that, but don't worry, my inquisitor is definitely going for the TANK that is Blackwall next time! I actually like his banter with the others very much, and I agree with him the majority of the time. I have to say the most difficult thing about DA:I is picking who to take with you on quests. I want to take all of them! ๐๐
For sure! ๐คฃ I'm really glad my girly is looking all glamourous for fighting dragons and everything in between. Lol ๐
EDIT: I actually said to my friend I'd do the Dwarf playthrough with Iron Bull and Dorian next, but I think I have to do at least one more normal playthrough before I do that. ๐ Not sure if I'll ever actually be able to bring myself to do it really. Lol! But if I do I'll call my Inquisitor Hornack in homage to the man (Sorry Hornack.) ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
- Midevil_Chaos3 years agoSeasoned Veteran
Uhm... I think I am more masculine than my cousin. He's imo, a bit more... err, less masculine? That is, despite being in the army.
Imagine if they actually included that Thomas the Train ballad in the game. That would be so awesome, as many people wouldn't even realize that it's Thomas the Train, as it would become Thomas the Horse.
I am glad they added her in (Triss), since she's the best. I would have been upset had they not added her in the game. As for Yennefer, I sorta-ish like her. What about DAI, what are your fav characters so far? For me, I would say the Inquisitor, Josephine and Iron Bull.
You know, I think all those games should be romanceable, like in real life. Maybe not the weird love triangle that my Geralt is in... but rather a normal non-triangle. Oh God, I mean square. 3 women plus Geralt. That's even worse. ๐ฅบ What has he done??? God have mercy...
Ok, with what you're saying about what Yennefer does, she's a complete psychopath. Like born and raised as one. Jeez, girl... she's insane. Thank God my Geralt loves Triss
, Keira and Yennefer. Poor * *smh*.You know, I always wondered if Ciri would ever fall for Geralt. After all, Geralt is a perv, and well I know nothing of Ciri lol. I wouldn't put it past either of them. AND you said that she wished she was in Yennefer's place. That says it all ๐ The adult Ciri looks good.
I definitely will stay away from those crazy people who think they can make people feel bad. Thank you for being on the front line and making sure those baddies don't try corrupting me and others. We both know Triss is better ๐ฅฐ She is warm and fuzzy, or bubbly as you said.
Concerning Cullen, alright, so Cullen is more akin to my cousin. I'm more like something in between Alastair (from DAO) and Blackwall. In real life, I'm definitely not a "Barbie". ๐๐๐ Don't get me wrong, I can look good if need be, but not my forte like my cousin with his Chihuahua.
Once I get back into DAI, I wanna show you my Barbie. She's a tall one, and she's a real badass.
Oh! The truth is, the Dwarf in my story is obviously cute enough, since he's dating this pretty damn good looking Human woman. If you ever create Hornack... please make him good looking. For the love of God, please do!
- Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
Go for it! be a masculine non Chihuahua owner. ๐
It seems I'll have to clear some of my previous message up ๐
I thought I'd put it correctly but it seems I might not have! Lol. It's Triss who wishes to be in Yennefer's place, not Ciri ๐ Geralt loves Ciri as a daughter and Ciri loves Geralt as her Father, I know he's a perv big time but that's too much even for Sapkowski! ๐๐คฃ Triss is the one who lets herself get ill to get closer to Geralt, as her love in the books is unrequited. Triss in the books who is the one who cannot stand up to the Lodge of Sorceresses until the end when she finally becomes stronger and choses the right decision in putting Ciri, Geralt and Yennefer first. Yennefer and Triss were actually close friends until Triss became obsessed with Geralt, of course leading to Yennefer becoming upset but does forgive Triss. Actually Triss isn't in the books much, so we don't get as much information about her as some others. Triss is actually probably around 40-30 years younger than Yennefer and Geralt. BTW just for reference Geralt and Yennefer are in their 90's and Triss is probably in her 40-50's it's never really specified when Triss was born, unlike Yen and Ciri so that's an around guess. Triss is the second youngest in the Lodge, the youngest is Keira, and the oldest is most likely Philippa.
TBH, Geralt has waayyyy to many flings in the books! He has 3 with redheads alone, which seem to be his weakness. ๐
What you said about Ciri and Geralt reminded me of The Crones saying "If she's shapely what does it matter, hehehe" ๐คฃ
Lol, your is cousin going for the preened look and you're going for the rugged one! I get it, you bounce of each other. ๐ You're just being a little bit less Chihuahua! ๐คฃ
Oooo, I love a barbie badass, as you know! ๐
Trust me, Hornack will be the "Absolute Babe of Thedas" that will be his nickname. Never mind the "Herald of Andraste" ๐คฃ

Are you saying I'm less masculine than my cousin? ๐ All I can say is that I am more charming than he is. For the sake of not insulting him [further], I will say no more. ๐คฃ
Ohhhhh, that makes more sense about that triangle (square, whatever). Geralt is a Goddamn pig of you ask me lol. I'm just happy I'm less humble than him, much less of a womanizer than he is, but better looking. I did say less humble. ๐๐๐
That's weird they opted to include Triss in the game though. Don't get me wrong, I love Triss in comparison to Yennefer. As for Ciri, I still think she's got a thing for Geralt? Who wouldn't? Ok, I wouldn't for multiple reasons, but that being said, Ciri (adult) is good looking. I could say she's not my type, but her skill set against enemies is impressive as hell. It reminds me a bit of the main character(s) in Lord of the Rings: Shadow of Mordor (please tell me you have played it - if not, pleeeeeease get the game. I'll even buy it for you if I have to! ๐ ). I think you would absolutely love the game. Story is unfortunately only 10 hours long, but there is a boat load more to do in the game though.
And you are right, she is shapely (Ciri that is), whatever that actually means. Can't argue with 3 insane witches. I mean, how could you argue with them? Their word is absolute, and binding. That's how it is with witches.
Well, out of the 2, I am more similar to Blackwall lol. So yeah, more rugged than my cousin lol. Though, I wouldn't wear Blackwall's attire, as it's too... shapely?
I appreciate you ๐ He will indeed be known as "The Absolute Babe of Thedas" or if you wanna take it a notch up: "The Deliciously Babelicious Dwarf of Thedas". ๐คฃ๐คฃ๐คฃ
