@Midevil_Chaos Also yes! LG products are great. Our Fridge freezer and TV are from LG, And they're both over 5 years old. I think they have amazing, quality products. not cheap, although worth it for the quality. 😊 Plus on The Verve subject, I also like some of their music. In particular 'when the drugs don't work'. But the some of the lyrics specifically "like a cat in a bag..." always depresses me, even though musically it's a very pretty song. (●ˇ∀ˇ●)

Yeah, that's the one! I was so disgusted though when people were scalping Xbox and PS5's - pure greed like that is so effing disgusting. I would never pay 2 grand for a console, and those who do? If they have the money because they're rich, that's one thing. But if you're just a normal person? Maybe those parents should teach their kids something else than greed. At some point, it's about teaching children the value of money, but when you spend 2 grand on a console? That's not a good life lesson. It saddens me to see some people falling into that trap of: "my child really wants this!" How about the lesson of: "kids don't need a 2 grand console and they can have fun with something else"?Thanks! To be fair, I was interested in PCs since I was a teen, and at some point I wanted to learn more. I started with simple web dev and found my way up to having a better understanding of PC hardware. PC hardware does change, but the change is an understandable change, while web dev is change and then more change, and you're looking at hundreds of languages if not more at this point. When you look at Python for example, that still exists and it was created in 1991... and still exists. Imagine all those languages that exist AND frameworks that go with it, then even more are created.
Random things is good lol. Like how to get X game to play because it doesn't work correctly, and then you need to add some resolution files and then also run a fixed exe file. There, random, but someone knew and shared that fix lol. Random knowledge is good.

The only ones I've owned for LG were phones. If you look at tvs though, Samsungs are great for those as long as you select the premium ones. I mean, the other ones are good too, but premium Samsung tvs are so damn amazing. Where I'm at, we may have Samsung dishwasher I think (furnished with the place). I am sure LG makes a better dishwasher than Samsung lol. I'd be curious to test out an LG for dishwashers and the washing/drying machines.I am not familiar with that specific song. I just read the lyrics. I don't even know what to say about 'em lol.

@Midevil_Chaos I totally agree with you about the parents and children. I think parents get caught up in the pressure of trying to make their children happy with material items, when really all the children want is a loving parent. I thankfully, in my childhood and now, never asked for anything ridiculously expensive or multiple items. When I was a child, I remember having a crazy huge imagination, most children do. I could play make believe for hours. I think I mainly played with just one doll, even though I had more to play with anyway. I think most children do that. The whole joke of 'bought my child a dollhouse which came in a huge box, but instead of playing with the dollhouse they're playing with the box' Is very true in my opinion. It just seems in a crazy capitalist society (which seems to be getting worse), even some children become unchildlike. Seriously I'm more childish than some actual children I know.🤣
And sorry for mentioning that song by The Verve. Lol. not the most cheery. 😂 Also, if you like The Verve. Do you know The Gorillaz? They're quite pop like and also British. Basically the lead singer, Damon Albarn, Also lead singer of Blur too. Basically talks in a british accent rather than sings. Lol. I know you mentioned bands who sound obviously not North American, and that's who I thought of straight away. Sorry for rambling, seriously a major trait of mine. If I was a sim my traits would most likely be perfectionist, goofball, and clumsy. They really don't go together. Lol (It's a permanent annoyance for me😂.) (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)

Just like in that Simpsons episode back in the day, where Maggie was playing with a box XD. And yes, you are correct, children simply want parents who pay attention. I've actually started watching Full House (I hadn't watched since I was much younger), and their dad says that he wants to spend more time with his daughters, because of Michelle calling uncles Joey and Jess, dad lol. That thing is real, where if you're not the main parent (in his case, since his wife was no longer among the living in the show), that will happen.
I didn't have imaginary friends like some people do, but I did have legos and gijoes though. Those were fun to play with. When it came to using my imagination, I wanna say we would create stories with those books. You know those tabletop games that have a book you can use? Sorta like D&D, but not D&D. It was fun. I would play with my friend and we were 18 at that point lol, and still playing with those types of games.
I agree, society is way too capitalistic. And yeeeeeeees! I too am very much more like of a child at heart than many other younger people lol. In fact, I am sorta like Joey from Full House, just not as talented with my voice impersonations though XD
Really? I personally don't consider Gorillaz to be pop music. Wait, their singer was the same as for Blur? How? XD I prefer Blur, personally.Girl, don't apologize. You and I would do well face to face. You could talk, and I could listen lol. To be fair, I write more than I talk. Wait, you're saying you're a "perfectionist, goofball, and clumsy"? I have to see that LOL. This is like adding 2+2 and expecting it to be 5 lol.

@Midevil_Chaos Yes truly! My personality is very contradicting. Lol. And I too didn't have any imaginary friends! When I heard of that being a common thing I was shocked as I thought it was rare. I mean I used to play with all sorts of things and use my imagination. I played with all sorts of toys mainly Barbie and many other things. (Although Bratz didn't float my boat though😂). But Lego! I was terrible at, I had friends that used to make amazing things, and I'd just make a box and that's it 😂. I literally couldn't make anything else. It's the same with games, when it comes to Build and Buy in the sims franchise it's the same again for me. let's just say, I start with an idea to build a pretty house with landscaping, then it just ends up being a box with a porch on it 🤣. Like I said practical things are not a strong point for me 😂. The whole left side or right side of the brain question, I'm definitely on the right side. I'm also not particularly good at math that's for sure! Lol.
All my lots in TS4 are from the gallery, not ashamed to admit that 😂. People that can build in the sims are so talented! I'm always soo impressed with people on the galleries' creations! Just for reference on 16 personalities (I don't know whether you've taken the test on there). But when I did the personality test, my result was INFP-T. It basically means I'm constantly daydreaming, and can ramble for hours 😂Lol. it was a surprisingly accurate result! \(●'◡'●)/

Congratulations on being normal :D I never understood the imaginary friend thing. Like, someone is just talking to air. I don't get it lol.
I am surprised about the legos part though. Usually, they come with a boxed set with instructions. Unless you had a bunch of loose legos like I did. I mean, I had both, but my brother is considerably older than I am, so that's why I had a lot of legos growing up, though I did prefer my gijoes. My brother still has legos. In case you were wondering, he is indeed married lol.Alright, took the test because, you know I had to after you mentioned it! So, first attempt...Hopeful Romantic. Yeah, definitely not the test lol. Taking a look at another one... nope. Ok, went online to verify, since I know exactly what you're referring to, but I couldn't find a Sims one AND then... realized you didn't mean a Sims test but actually the website I was on afterwards. Alright, I am a Logistician apparently ISTJ-A: "Logisticians are practical and fact-minded individuals, whose reliability cannot be doubted." And 100% introverted, 60% observant, 87% thinking (vs feeling), 53% judging (me in the first line about imaginary people lol) and 54% assertive. That's me in a nutshell. Ironically though, I do daydream all the time like you LOL. That being said, the above is probably the reason why I struggle when it comes to "moral" decisions when there is no true good answer. Sorta like the trolley problem.
You must be very creative as well, considering you daydream all the time 🙂 Hopefully you write, paint or maybe play music(?) - Missie_Kate3 years agoSeasoned Hotshot
@Midevil_Chaos I imagined you as that personality type! especially as you've got patience to work with computers. Sorry I forgot to put 16 personalities is it's own website 😂. That's my scatter brained ways coming out again Lol. Me and my friend did that test 2 years back and I thought it was accurate about us! My personal results were, as I still have them. (Professional Hoarder. Loool)
52% Introverted (vs Extroverted 48%), 79% Intuitive (vs Observant 21%), 73% Feeling (vs Thinking 27%), 63% Prospecting (vs Judging 37%) 70% Turbulent (vs Assertive) INFP-T. I think your personality group is obviously deep thinkers that are patient intellectuals. Whilst mine is just means I'm all over the place. which is very trueee. As for music, I can't play any instruments (accept from the music presets on keyboards 😂). I've always wanted to learn though, especially the violin, I love the violin. My grandma was a soprano and ballroom dancer, so I'm into arty-farty stuff like her 😂. I also love acting it's just messing about, and what's not to like about that! As for painting sadly that's not my forte. but I do love art. Actual artists amaze me, being able to make a canvas look like a human being! Like whoa, I also think the same way about digital artists, so talented!
I've completely rambled now again. Lol. Btw on the Lego subject they belonged to other kids I never saw the guides for the actual bricks 🤣. I had some stickle bricks that I played with though, I didn't ever ask for Lego for the reason of it just wasn't my expertise. 😂
- @Midevil_Chaos My certificates are for all my old IT/Microsoft Courses. Local government loves it's training courses.
I think this may be why my Sims are mostly self employed lol. Less training and more doing. Mind you, I never let them have time off and give them moodlet solvers to keep them working. So I'm a harsh employer/creator. - @Mrs_K_Desormeaux I loved Lego! I used to build little houses, which is exactly what I do now with the Sims. Lego houses were my first step on the mini property ladder!
My personality test said I had a Sensing/Feeling personality, that I did not process instructions well, am a visual learner and that I did not speak up in a large group.
