I have it but I can't ever get the Hermit to be at their house don't you need a certain recipe from them for the herbalism skill?
You can put a outdoor theater in Granite Falls for something to do. I actually found one in the gallery but you need the Movie Hangout Stuff Pack.

There's hardly anything to do there, especially nothing that raises fun, so even my nature-loving sims get bored rather quickly.
