I play with aging off. Every sim year on New Years Eve I turn aging ON, and before 1st day of Spring ends, I will turn it back off. This way all my played and non-played sims will age one year per cycle of seasons. This makes New Years Eve special, too. Because the game require a certain and random amount of time played after an elder hits the "get ready to die", I will need to play a couple simdays with aging on (but I always will avoid doing so during midnight) my sims will not die from old age only on 1st day of Spring. I agree with aging off, too💔!
I got too sad when I first started playing TS4 when I didn't know how to turn aging off or normal life span. My Sims died every 3 IRL days, so I found out how to turn aging off. Actually, in between I played on long. Now, aging is off.
