I usually play with aging on, even though I feel it's sad when my sims die, but then I try to shift my focus on to the new sim that becomes my main one, and discover new things 🙂
@snofnugg That's the best way to play a generational gameplay. To remember past Generations, I do a photo op of that Generation, frame it, and then put it on a wall in a church on a Lot that I designed into a cemetery. This helps me remember past Generations I played that have moved on.
Here's my Generation 1 photo op. It has my Founder, his wife, his stepdaughter (along with her husband and their child), his son, and his two daughters.
Taking pictures is a great way to remember older generations 🙂
