Do you play with townies/premades?

Well, I never start off playing a premade, but I will usually marry sims to them & townies.

Sometimes one of my sims dates/marries/has a baby with a townie/premade.

I also like to play with recreated versions of Sims 1/2/3 premades (till they are added to the actual game like the Pleasant Sisters).

I've often have my sims date/marry/befriend them but that's it. Even if they end up living with my sims I don't really with bother them.

i can't stand the premades. i delete them as soon i start a new save

I only play with premade sims in my game for a day or two after a patch or pack launch to mess around with new features. Or just long enough for my more essential mods to update so I don’t screw up my main games.

So 98% of the time, I delete any new premade Sims and make my own. I’ll leave houses as they are to rebuild as needed but I enjoy the game much more if I make the sims and lots myself.

Generated townies get extensive surgery or makeovers if they are close enough but I also use cheats to make my own there too.

i did with one or two where i was too lazy to achieve their career steps etc. julia ward is now a heavily changed person and i hope she is doing better in her life :D but otherwise i usually ignore them / replace them when i can. some i keep because they are actually interesting or for nostalgia reasons (i could never remove the landgraabs, for example), but i prefer having my own sims with their own stories. even if i randomise everything they still feel like my characters.

I misunderstood. I sometimes have my sims marry randomly generated townies who become part of their household but haven't played the Goths, Pancakes, etc. I think Summer Holiday is really cute and can see myself playing her in the future.
