I'm a fan of clutter so long as the rooms are decently sized that my Sims can still easily maneuver around the room. I especially like kids rooms and living rooms with lots of clutter because it gives the home more personality to me. I'm not a fan of apartments/homes with giant rooms and lots of empty space; it just looks like something is missing.
