I almost answered "the more, the better", but even if I like putting clutters everywhere, I want my lots to be playable. So I choose the second answer, but I think we all have a different definition for "reasonable amounts" ! For my, this is fine :

Each interactive object can be used without issue, and there is a lot of details, making the screenshots more interesting in my opinion. But it may be too much for other people ! I can understand that people having trouble to run the game smoothly prefer houses with fewer objects, but as I build for myself (even if I share my lots), I do it as I wish.
