Just like in my real life I can't stand clutter, I typically don't build my homes with a lot of clutter. I like an open concept home and a sort of minimalism design.....HOWEVER when playing as sims that aren't modeled after myself I do add some clutter. For example I have a household that's a dorm for the high school I built. College students stereotypically are messy and so I have clutter everywhere to make it look more authentic, especially in the guys' rooms where I have dirty laundry on the floor.
