- keekee537 years agoSeasoned AceThis poll is still amazing me. It seems like so many people are always asking for information. I better not see any of you shorter voters asking for information..LOL :p
- I wouldn't want to have a year of knowing before coming out. The agony of waiting would kill me. Lol. But, 2-3 months to get excited and speculate would be nice. With these release in a week trailers, it's kind of hard to get pumped for them. I need time to set aside money and talk to other players, see if they think it will be worth it. A week isnt long enough.
- I'm impatient. ? Plus I don't always buy packs immediately, so if there's one I want but I need/want a sale to buy it, I have less time to not have it if the announcement is shorter. ?

So back in TS3 we’ve had packs that were announced almost a whole year before release (Into The Future for example). Now we have StrangerVille that’s announced less than a week before release. Would you rather have packs to be announced as early as possible, or as late as possible?
As late as possible as the 1 -2 month wait after an ep announcement is just horrible.- While I’d be all for knowing what packs we’ll be getting months or even up to a year in advance, my impatience defeats that desire. If they announced a pack that I was really excited for, I’d hate having to wait so long for it to be released.
- Longer if we know details about the pack, shorter if all they dont give any info. I am not a dog, i do not appreciate being teased. Just tell us what youre working on early so we can plan and maybe the sims team can impliment changes or improvements based on the initial response. If they did that for my first pet maybe they wouldnt have gotten such backlash. I feel like the shorter wait time is because they don't want us to notice that things are rushed and complain before it's released.
- I was SO pleasantly surprised by the strangerville announcement. I had no idea that we were getting one, and it was just in time for my birthday!
- I can't really decide, because both have their upsides and downsides. Longer is good because we get to know about the pack earlier, but on the downside we have to wait a long time for the pack to be released. Shorter is also good because we don't have to wait a lot for the pack to be released, but before the announcement we usually have a long news drought. I think I still prefer longer cycles, though.
- OneAdorkableGirl7 years agoNew AceI have to go with shorter now because while I did like the longer announcements, because it was easier to plan, the wait was.. awful, it'd get really hard to play my game. So, I like the shorter one because it still gives me a chance to plan some of my saves, and not have to wait for such a long time to the point where it becomes difficult to start up my game. D:
- sjofn777 years agoSeasoned VeteranLonger, because I like to have a save prepped for whatever new thing is coming, as I like to start a new save for EPs (and often GPs). It doesn't have to be six months or anything that long, but nothing nothing nothing for weeks or months before SUDDENLY, NEW PACK really doesn't work for me. It makes me feel stressed, actually, because I suddenly have what feels like a deadline dropped in my lap. And I don't even get to like ... anticipate what's coming, it's just suddenly there and actually makes me less excited.
Basically, I hate being in the dark for long, long stretches of time, then ambushed by a major pack.
