Do you remember the first time you played a sims game?

I was around 12 when I went over to my best friends house and she has the sims 1. I was so fascinated by it that I begged my mom for my own copy. She finally relented and bought me the sims 1 and the newest expansion pack at the time hot date. I ended up owning all the expansions of the sims 1 and buying the sims 2 on the day it came out. Now I'm a bigger sims fan than my best friend was all those years ago.
