Maybe the "hot" update will be summer activities--like a July 4th event or something. It'll probably tie into a kit that offers some sort of activity aesthetic without any actual gameplay, which will come in the basegame update.

I’m struggling to find what else it could be besides cars since it’s a base game update..

I was hoping for pre teens but we got a new life stage not long ago so I think it’s probably something else

It could be the update coming to the Caliente Sisters.

Well, if we go by the image they posted, then it includes parcels, flower rug, potted flower and tiny rake and spade, books and what looks like discarded socks. Maybe the hot update is related to hot houses for the plants. I think we are definitely getting another plant kit.

Maybe it will be just decorative plants like the other kit was. But it does hint to a garden/plant update of some sort. And lots of boxes. :lol:
