Yeah, linear gameplay is so unique. You know what other game series directs me and tells me what I need to do? Pokémon!
Even pokemon is less linear. :|
Yet I find it interesting that games that are often seen as linear are some of the biggest selling games in history.
But they started out that way. They didn't convert to a different genre along the path.
(Also, Pokémon just plain does their games right!)
