Do you think The Sims 4 = Failure?

Went back to Sims 3..Sims 4 is so boring and I've tried it with CC and mods, without CC and mods.. nothing can help this game and it will never be as great as the previous versions. Been a year and the content out and coming is as boring as the base game. I don't expect the final release with all content out to be better..just more fail..

So I went back to 3, yes my little Sims have their robotic moments.. the game needs a few mods because the developers decided to not fix the issues 3 had.. But with all content (including store).. I feel that Sims 4 will never come close to Sims 3 even with all the dlc added..Because the base game is shallow, emotions overdone, traits mean nothing, and this game lacks game play..That is the core.. And it will be hard to build differently on that core..

I don't hate Sims 4.. I hate what they did to my favorite game.. they made it so it shouldn't even have the Sims name on it..It is too different to be call a Sims game...

I tried it just as a single sim game.. It becomes boring because every Sim is the same (just a different look)..Same reactions, same emotions, same walk of life.. It doesn't matter what gender, age, and looks you give a sim in 4.. They are the same in game..

And way too linear..

I went and played 3 again..( waiting for hubby to get home to play Ark, cause I just built a house on our raft and a roof where we can transport dinos so we can get ore...Adventure!)..and find my robot pudding face sims are fun..and make me laugh out loud at some of the shenanigans they do or get themselves into..

And yes I still play 2 ...
