There are things in all the games that keep me interesting and I don't think TS4 is a failure but it does need things that previous games had but I think that will all come in time. Like I miss that sims can eat on beds and talk with other sims so I love the multitasking. When I go back to TS3 I miss it. But I miss weather I miss bowling alleys. I sometimes miss cute toddlers or taking babies on strolls around the neighborhood. I don't miss this LOL

Exactly. Picking up things isn't what this game is about. It's also not about weather and bowling alleys though, that's features that are added later. It's essential, basic things you need when you play, things that simply must be there from basegame on. The additions are meant to be the cherry on the cake. Not a way to chase away boredom.
