Do you think we will get another expansion this year?

Prior to the official announcement that Seasons is coming this next month, I would've and did say 'No' in a previous thread like this. However, this EP is coming early enough in the year that we could very well end up with another one by fall during the normal games push. It's going to be interesting to see how this goes. :)

I'm still hoping for one in November. It's a good idea for them to releases something big before the holidays.

If they're releasing this amazing EP in June, they must have something big planned for the holiday shopping season.
Since the developers usually swing for the bleachers, it's gonna be either a second EP or a three-run homer Game Pack like Vampires was.

It's possible. Get to Work and Get Together were released 6 months apart, and then the expansion releases started to drag with City Living and Cats & Dogs being released a year apart from each other. But now it's been 7 months since Cats & Dogs and we're getting Seasons. And these two expansions have been the most demanded across all the communities. So yeah, maybe we'll get another expansion, if not this year, at the beginning of next year. Nothing is impossible. I hope that in the not-so-distant future of TS4 lifespan we'll start seeing 2 EPs, 2 GPs, and 3 to 4 SPs being released a year.

I'm saying no. I was honestly surprised that we even got one this early in the year but they did say that they are working on multiple packs at once in different stages that said I think they would want to keep EP somewhat spaces out as to not overload us with content. We could see another one within the first quarter of next year.

They said tat there is a lot of "great deal of content coming to our sims players this year". Having two expansion packs seems great to me. I am just hoping hahaha with EA we will never know what their next move might be.

I'm with the "they need something big to sell for black friday/christmas shopping" and another EP fits that bill.
Alternatively they might have a new sidegame in planning for the end of the year, something along the lines of a new Sims Medieval, Castaway or yet another mobile game.

I'm not sure why but I had a feeling we were going to get 2 EP's this year, so the fact that they're releasing one half way through the year makes me think I might be right. Previously they must have been working on the next EP to come out, C&D and seasons. Now they can just work on the next EP and the one after that. But who knows, I'm going to assume it's not happening so I don't get my hopes up anyway.
