I've launched a discussion some time ago on how I would want an Expansion Pack/Game Pack that would take werewolfs further than ever and expand them into a whole new level with things from werewolves to were cats, going throguh a lot of other types like wereinsects (fairies?) and werebirds (angels?)... And I even mentioned plantsims being turned into 2 new lifestates called wereplants and were fungi. You can read my detailed "Mystical Living Expansion Pack" idea here, which include ideas like a chinese/marital arts tournament inspired theme and world with anime styled fighting tournaments (similar to the sims 3 Chess Tournament). Even if we did, they would likely be extremely watered down... like a lot... just like how aliens and mermaids were. The Sims 4 only does well with occult Sims when they release them as a game pack (Vampires and Realm Of Magic). If you truly want fleshed out Plant Sims, then it's probably best to hope they create a game pack featured around them... though, I honestly don't see it happening. I really can't imagine them creating a game pack solely focused on Plant Sims... then again, if they had just waited and used THIS theme as a game pack, it could've easily been done... but this is EA we're talking about, so only money matters, unfortunately.

I was just thinking about plantsims with this EP! While I do doubt that any new occult will be introduced, if there were I'd like it to be plantsims. They could stand to use some attention.

I really hope we get real plantsims. I think chances for an occult are 50/50 but if we get occults, I think fairies or werewolves are more likely.

I would love if they can fix our temporary Plantsim to become a full lifestate. Also, it would be nice to have a Fairy like Rosetta in Tinkerbell Pixie Hollow. Unfortunately, it's just a pipe dream.

I would love PlantSims to be upgrade with a patch and for fairies to come with it. I love Guild Wars too and I do have a Sylvari as my main character and love her. <3 She is purple and her hair glows aqua.

I would like Plantsims to be developed a little. They were free and can now be unlocked with some fiddling in bb.codes, but I'd want them deeper.

it certainly won't come hidden in that package, I think we would have seen it in the trailer at some point, how it happened in get it work if I'm not mistaken and in island living. a shame because it would be the best time to bring the plants back (if it’s that prototype of the base) I don’t think we’ll see any more occults in the sims 4 unless the end of the year gamepack brings something medieval along with fairies or werewolves.

@akaseven I think we'll still get Bigfoot/Yeti on that snow mountain pack, maybe genies on that supposed Music/Bands/Showtime EP, Unicorns when they release horses somewhere, plantsims if we get a Farming EP, Imaginary Friends most likely than any other as it was one of the top occults on Grant's poll some time ago, Fairies too, and Werewolves. I don't think most of them will get detailed game packs like Vampries and Spellcasters... Fairies and Werewolves probably, and maybe plantsims, but the rest of them we should expect the same fate as aliens, ghosts and mermaids. Don't worry, we still have a couple of years of Sims 4, cuz a couple of simgurus already stated that clearly.

We won't and it's truly disappointing. Plantsims should have been the leaders of that green revolution IMO.
Truly a waste of potential and gameplay features. I like the pack but I'm salty.

Nope. Not gonna happen, with the lack of occults already, I don't see this happening. It's saddening to see what The Sims has become, it used to be one of my top favorite games, it's slowly sinking to the bottom this way.
