Do you think World Packs from TS3 will come to TS4? Any thoughts about this possibility?
People are asking for new worlds with empty lots and focused in real world locations like Mediterranean Europe, Egypt or Scandinavia, and unless the next comming EPs and GPs will have worlds based in these locations, world packs will comes soon or later. Also, if the next EPs and GPs will be focused in a specific world theme like Snowy Escape or Jungle Adventure, there will be more EPs focused on specific worlds than gameplay features like hobbies, music/sport, family interactions or careers. Those elements doesn't need an specific world to shine by it's own, like TS2 Freetime, TS3 Generations or TS3 Showtime.
If the world packs from The Sims 3 will arrive to The Sims 4, I think it will be badly received after the Kits release, but I think it's innevitable. Also, I don't think that Kits can afford a World like the EP/GP ones, because the pre-maded lots and sims will need to use more than BG assets like CAS, Buy/Build.
If we look back to The Sims 3, eleven (11) worlds were released and there're intresting world packs that includes gameplay like dragons, furniture and clothes, and without ANY reliable new about The Sims 5 like development, release date or platforms, EA will find all the ways to release new digital products to satisfy this need until the next installment of the series that will be released I think, in 2024.
At least, each World Pack should release:
For example, for a supossed Mediterranean World Pack:
About the price (USD), if we follow the price chart for the DLCs:
A world pack can worth an average of $30, between the GP and EP. The price can be unfair, but due the world-focused product plus CAS+BB+Gameplay, I don't think the price will drop. Also, TS3 World Packs price was between $25 to $35.

At least, each World Pack should release:
- 1 new world
- 3 to 5 new gameplay features
- 80 to 100 buy/build items
- 40 t0 60 CAS stuff
- A new occult (mummies, zombies, werewolves) or pet (dragon, horses) if the stuff described above is dropped in quantity. For example: less gameplay elements but added a occult instead.
For example, for a supossed Mediterranean World Pack:
- A new world based in Italy
- Nectar making, pottery, cheese making, goat milking and/or pizza oven
- B/B based in Italy, France, Greece and Spain
- CAS based in the countries described above
- No new occult or pet.
About the price (USD), if we follow the price chart for the DLCs:
- EP = $40
- GP = $20
- SP = $10
- Kit = $5
