Always. It's one of the joys of new packs. My favourite part of sims is creating, both CAS and building and the items in a new pack are what usually motivates me to buy them if it isn't the new gameplay itself. A lot of times, there's an item I've been thinking of that just wasn't available in game and then with a new pack, there it is! Or I see a new item and immediately think of a sim or house it would be perfect for.
Another point is that with the CAS items, I get to differentiate my sims a little more. We all have our preferences and sometimes might end up using certain items more than others, so you see too much of it. New packs allow me to add in more variety.
