Do you upgrade old homes and sims with new pack content?

I usually move the households into the lot as is, then add or remove objects as I see fit, so yeah, pack content eventually makes its way into all the homes. I do add the toddler tunnels & swingsets to the parks if there's room, but otherwise mostly leave the community lots as they are.
