Do you use cheats?

I use the 4 building cheats on every build I do and then the motherlode as well. I don't enjoy the game without those.

I was the same way except I do use bb.showhiddenobjects when doing a house that I intend for an NPC family. But then, I built "The Modern" (which is available in the gallery). I was irritated with the spacing of the objects and the inability to clutter up desks and flower gardens so I tried bb.moveobjects on/off and now I'm hooked on it! It makes things look so much better. I still try to keep the game as real as possible though.

By the way, if you decide to try bb.moveobjects on/off, make sure you set it to off when you're done editing or your sims will place obects like dishes inside other objects on surfaces. They too seem to be unrestricted when that one is turned on.

This game can be too boring not to cheat. I use aspiration cheats, money cheats sometimes but mostly free real estate and need cheats.

Update: I must admit that I've started to cheat a bit more lately. I still don't cheat to get lots of money (I only use that one if I want my sim to start at 0), but I started a new game recently, and cheated up some satisfaction points, so I could get the care free and needs no one traits right away. Anything else will be played out as normal.

If the money tree is considered a cheat, then yes I do. However, it's a legitimate item that you can posess in the game, so I have never felt like it was a cheat.

Theres nothing wrong with using cheats

I use motherload, testingcheats , bb.moveobjects, casfulleditmode. Without cheats your sims can only live in the 20x20 lots or empty houses which I hate

I'm a builder, so I use cheats. However, I don't use the money cheat.

cas.fulleditmode: to loss body weight when too lazy doing excise
bb.moveobjects: nothing you can do without this cheat as a builder

I never use skill, money, job performance, free real estate cheats but I do for bb.moveobject, bb.enablefreebuild for get to work workplace, resetsim for being locked in and preventing alien abduction.
